Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
I get the feeling that most people are on board with this project. Don't get me wrong, there are some ney sayers out there. But not as much as there were for the revamp of the fountain. I drove down McMicken and through the brewery district last night. This area really needs a stiff kick in the arss! This line couldn't hurt! It is great to hear officials acknowledging future lines to NKY and Clifton, but lets figure that out once this first phase in under construction. Plenty of time for all that.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
"We really tried to pick a layup here," said John Schneider, head of the Alliance for Regional Transit. Who does this cat think he is? Congrats John. I wish you all luck this afternoon! I expect a detailed report since I can't attend.

Cincinnati: Crime & Safety Discussion
Great news! These are very promising stats and I give props to all involved from the police to the community groups, but I wish District 3 would have shown a decrease. There is still a lot of work to be done in the western communities. I wouldn't consider this a complete and total success until we get all what, (52) neighborhoods on board.

Homicide totals
that is assuming we average the same number of murders each month, which I would suspect is probably not the case. If I had to gues I would assume may through august would be the most and nov-feb would be the fewest. LET'S HOPE!

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
What if we were to get emails or addresses of these opposition folks and inundate there offices with our thoughts? Do you think that would have any effect once they realize how many people know who and what companies are involved in this negative rhetoric, and how the general public is persieving there place of business? Just thinking out loud! These $#%holes are really trying to screw this project up!

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
Aren't we all picking this apart too much! Business is business when it comes to finding tenants to occupy empty spaces. Sure, you can't please everybody all the time, but the simple fact that companies are moving downtown to begin with satisfies me. Remember how the 90's headlines read, "Another business picking up and leaving downtown!" Your not seeing this anymore. If a florist thinks they can survive on the square (which we all should know he will), by god Let Em. Very soon the square will be full and all the promises that were attached to the entire renovation project will finally be realized because the new prospective tenants are going to have to look for empty space within the surrounding blocks of FS. The fountain is more packed today than I have seen in my entire 27 years on Earth. I am extremely pleased with the buzz going on in CBD and OTR combined. Remember the mass exodus took decades (people & business) to get to the point we were at in April of '01. (IMO, the turning point). Little by little, these people and ALL KINDS of business will eventually find there way back DT.

Cleveland's Waterfront - 09/28/2007
Great Shots! Ignorant question from a Nati boy? I know the wind is higher off the lake than in southern Ohio, but is the windmill in downtown C-land a PR thing or is it a productive source for a certain building, area or what? Could be both. Whatever it is I LOVE IT!

What do you think the overall agenda is for these commissioners, when so many differ on this issue? Shady may be an understatement.

Cincinnati: Street game ban
If this truly is an issue with kids on certain streets that may be causing traffic problems, maybe the city needs to enlighten those kids ON THAT PARTICULAR AVE of the problems they may be causing. MOST kids are pretty good about listening to reason and understanding why this may be an issue with there street. It wouldn't hurt to point out to some of these kids where the nearest park is located in relation to there dwelling.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Outside the fact we always play good on a primetime game, I am a little worried! Maybe we could get a little help from some of the pigeons.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
The worst thing about this entire project is that city and the county are involved........... So much for go big or go home! Most cities would embrace such an ambitious idea.
