Where in Cincinnati was this photo taken?
^+2 Anyone know what year vehicles are in that pic? The Western Hills Viaduct may not have even been built if they are prior to 33. My guess though is it was taken in the late 30's early 40's.

Cincinnati: East Price Hill: Incline Square
I went through the open house a couple weeks ago. This place looks great inside and the lighting they put up on the exterior is breath taking at night!

Governor John Kasich
Kasick needs to find time to sit down and watch this along with all his followers/minions. The clock is ticking for all Ohio cities. We are in a death spiral which stands the chance of burying this state if we don't take action soon! We can't put all of our eggs in one basket contrary to what Johnnies beliefs are that he learned at Lehman. It's do or die!

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
Interesting that Cheviot is one of, if not the densest square mile in the state at 7,172. We need to get our act together, Ohio!

Cincinnati: Random Development and News
I would love to see what a little bit of love would do on the Harrison Ave corridor of Westwood. The potential there is off the charts with how the neighborhood is oriented surrounding the Town Hall. The remodel of the elementary school is shaping up nicely already. They'd need more than 800k to make the Glenway stretch look any good.

Metro Cincinnati: Road & Highway News
That seems strange! They just rehabbed it a few years back. I used that everyday I was there. I take it they plan to demo that office building next to the base of that bridge too? Grade separation sounds much less intrusive to the surrounding area at MLK/Clifton like ES suggests. There is no sense tearing down all those homes for suburban commuters to shave off an extra ten minutes of their already 50 minute drive home. That pun is aimed at my sister!

All I can say is stay tuned! We got 4 more years of foot in mouth comments from this clown. Should be painfully entertaining!

Forest Park: Forest Fair Mall / Cincinnati Mills Redevelopment
Yea, I don't ever remember hearing anything about a shooting inside the mall. I do remember the rumors of gangs roaming it in the 90's though. I don't think I personally have ever felt threatened walking around there. Now the Monroe Outlet Mall....... that gives me the hee bee gee bees!!

Townships: kill 'em, keep 'em or combine 'em?
In regards to JEDDs, Green twp and Cheviot have been doing this alot lately with construction projects on Harrison Ave. Some other examples of JEDDs in Ohio. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Economic_Development_District A Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) is an arrangement in Ohio where one or more municipalities and a township agree to work together to develop township land for commercial or industrial purposes. The benefit to the municipality is that they get a portion of the taxes levied in the JEDD without having to annex it.

Cincinnati: Demolition Watch
oakiehigh replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Architecture, Environmental, and PreservationThat's too bad. I was hoping that at very least 3cdc would've got their hands on these. Let's hope rails in the streets incourages more private investment into these older buildings.

Townships: kill 'em, keep 'em or combine 'em?
I would think the more populous townships near the cities would then push for their own city status. I like the idea tho, kill em!
