  3. Keep in mind, aside from 74 splitting the northern part of Green Twp., their are NO other interstates that divide westside neighborhoods like other parts of the city. Some may see this as a negative, some don't!!!! I personally LOVE that part of the equation. Truth is, most of the western city neighborhoods were designed around a streetcar in the early 20th (Westwood, Price Hill). All the more reason, it Should and Hopefully will be looked at once we get up and running in the basin. The density is definitely there! And Damn Straight, we don't give a $@#* what somebody from another part of town thinks of us!!!!

  7. Major changes seen for viaduct By Barry M. Horstman • [email protected] • March 26, 2010 http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/AB/20100326/NEWS01/3270339/ "I understand that traffic flow and safety features are important considerations in transportation planning, but I question putting automobile interests ahead of the vitality and well-being of established urban neighborhoods," Hillside Trust executive director Eric Russo said in a letter to Spinosa. "It seems a bit old school to think you'd destroy a neighborhood to make a traffic pattern work," Walsh said. "It would disrupt a lot of things - things the city wants to see - that have taken a long time to grow here."
  8. Without zoning EVERY street could have parcels that look like this!
  9. Agree 100%
  10. Today's P&G leaders are about as far from the likes of James Gamble as they could get. They are just another group of Wall Street puppets! I know they still do great things worldwide, but in the last two decades they have not shown much love for this city or the history of their own company. Look how they sold most of their manufacturing facilities to other companies, who in turn close shop here and move those jobs away. And as far as the Gamble House goes, we never really heard a peep from em.
  11. Surprisingly well written story!

  13. I have a funny feeling concourse C will end up being demo'd before 2025. What a waste of taxpayers money! And where the hell is COAST on this one????????????????????? Doesn't involve rail, so we won't hear a peep out of them, right?!?!?!?!
  14. Bravo! I never knew!

But when he heard Willie's Sport Cafe in Glenway Crossing was facing imminent foreclosure, he bought the restaurant in April 2009. "There were 42 employees. They were going to all go on unemployment and I knew them," O'Dell said.

Sherman, I noticed you were standing right next to me as the parade started near Arnold's. I didn't mean any disrespect by not hollering at ya, but I noticed you were on a mission at that point in time that evening. I had to let the master do his thang which he does so well!! Great Shots of another Unforgettable Bockfest!! Is it just me, or has attendance grown substantially from the past few years?
  20. New life for historic Gamble house By Cliff Radel • [email protected] • March 8, 2010 http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20100308/NEWS01/303080112/New+life+for+historic+Gamble+house The opponents were C. Francis Barrett, attorney for Greenacres Foundation, the house’s owner, and Carter Randolph, Greenacres’ vice president. Speaking for 22 minutes, 11 times the allotted two-minute limit, Barrett noted that his client “did not realize the strong sentiment” the house generated. He asked the board to delay its decision.

  22. Wow! I had no idea about this project.
  23. ^To each his own! This trashy hick spent $1400 there last year. They seem to do well, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a Cabella's take interest in our region in the near future.
