  1. Curious Jake, why do you ask? It's public data, isn't it? Welcome to CAGISOnline, the new interactive mapping site of the Cincinnati Area Geographic Information System. The purpose of this site is to assist current and potential residents and property owners in making decisions that will add to the vitality of the Cincinnati area and promote economic development throughout Hamilton County. Mapping and reporting tools on this site make it possible for the user to explore communities and properties in the county, investigate the zoning restrictions and requirements for individual parcels, and track changes in land use over time through aerial photographs. Additional features and capabilities will be added to the site during the next several months. We invite your comments and recommendations for the continued development of this site. Comments should be sent to:[email protected]. We hope that you will find this site useful and will use its resources often.
  2. I'm being told by Cagis employees that they want the public to know this exists. As for copyrighting, I'll have to get back with ya. I'm not sure about that.

Expect Terrell Owens to Join the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday, February 06, 2010 Written by Bob Cunningham http://www.yardbarker.com/all_sports/article_external/Expect_Terrell_Owens_to_Join_the_Cincinnati_Bengals/2044310 What started out as playful banter between Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens has not gotten serious enough that T.O. is addressing it, saying he'll change his name to "Ocho Uno" if and when he becomes a member of the Bengals.

It has me thinking Hemet or Redlands. heh..aint it! I 'd have to say "The Condfederacy" would be those exurban counties south of the NK Three, which are part of the Cincy MSA. ...and Dayton has Darke & Preble County for that Midwest rural-yet-part-of-MSA thang. No, trust me, I pushed that red bubble deep into Clermont County for a reason. Robert E Lee is buried under the Eastgate Mall parking lot. Hahaha, BRAVO!!
  12. Crosley Building in Camp Washington too, right? Why haven't either of these projects started yet?

  17. If CUT becomes a major passenger rail station once again and it's connected to the rest of the basin with a modern streetcar then all of a sudden that corridor between CUT and Downtown via OTR becomes VERY desirable. CUT already has a redevelopment plan on the books to build on the parking lots that currently exist out front...this could very much be accelerated if and when the aforementioned items become reality. ^I was just typing the exact response as Rando. CUT matters when it comes to rail of all kinds. I don't know about I-75 and the "Gateway" mentioned earlier but I do know Cincinnati's future is inextricably linked to OTR's future. I doubt we'd get any resistance if a developer wanted to annihilate a large swath of land in Queensgate. No buildings in that area are worth saving, except CUT and the old Hudy plant. If saving OTR structures and streetcar development forces developers with their "Large Block Experiments" to go west near CUT,........... So be it! I'd sure welcome that!

Now that is a good question which I can't answer and I'll admit I even wrestle with. Most people I know who collect assault rifles and such are ex military personnel who have a passion and history with such weapons. I'm more into hunting and handgun firearms so my personal opinions tend to be biased torwards protecting my rights to bear those arms. Like Dan says, "they couldn't have even imagined the weapons we have at our disposal today" or for that matter whats to come. I believe it still comes down to the drug war in this country. How many homicides would Cincy have had last year if you take out the illegal drug factor and trade? 10, if that. What do you do for a country that has more guns than people? Not to get too far off topic but, If deaths are the issue, then why aren't we putting weight limits on vehicles which kill more Americans than guns? What if all vehicles were forced to abide by similar design standards and stay in the realm of 2000 to 4000lbs instead of having a society that drives a 1600 lbs smart car in one lane and an 8000 lbs SUV in another. I feel a person behind the wheel when mixing cell phones, radios, GPS and other distractions is more of a danger to society than guns.
  23. Is anyone familiar with the history of this building on Harrison Ave in Westwood (Cincy)? I kinda remember seeing masonic symbols on it yet I can't seem to pull up any history on it. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=45211&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=40.27343,79.541016&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Cincinnati,+Hamilton,+Ohio+45211&ll=39.15009,-84.599608&spn=0.001206,0.002427&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=39.15028,-84.599781&panoid=bVhjhcVZsD31o4Qy4gCtGQ&cbp=12,95.16,,0,-9.02

They are questions regarding forming a militia. With all do respect, I know many people that own firearms including myself and I have never had a discussion with any of these people about forming any type of militia. I'm sure those type of radicals exist, but most use the 2nd as a form of defending themselves from the criminal element, not the military or the govt.
