  4. Maury's is home since 1949 By Cliff Radel • [email protected] • October 31, 2009 http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/AB/20091031/NEWS01/911010329/ "Customers expected to be welcomed in a genuinely friendly manner - not in the faux-chummy style of a Wal-Mart greeter. They relished going to a crowded steak joint where the lights and the ceilings were low, the red on the Naugahyde seats glowed, the wood paneling gleamed and the place was filled with dueling sensations, the aromas of fine food and the sounds of laughter. The atmosphere made people feel at home. Thus, this place became a memory generator for generations of customers and employees." This place feels like something out of Goodfellows.
  5. ^There is a small one in Bridgetown too. 4 locations within a 3 miles radius at best to any of those locations you listed along with Beavertown. It will be interesting to see SOMETHING HAPPEN soon! The city needs every bit of redevelopment they can get. Even if it is a gas station, it will generate revenue more than that empty building that has sat there for years. Verdin is doing this job on Harrison Ave. http://www.verdin.com/ Green dedicating Veterans tribute tower By Kurt Backscheider • [email protected] • October 31, 2009 http://communitypress.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/C2/20091031/NEWS/910310308/ Green Township has a long tradition of honoring our military veterans - 200 years worth of tradition. The township itself is named after Revolutionary War hero Maj. Gen. Nathanael Greene, so it's fitting the township continues to pay tribute to veterans in its bicentennial year.
  6. haha, the peoples republic...... That's awesome!
  7. That would be interesting. I was told years ago from an architect that Carl couldn't stand Cincy's building codes/restriction and pledged never to rebuild within the city limits. I'm not sure that was ever entirely true though. Has UDF built in any other city neighborhoods throughout the 2000's? Hopefully, they have kissed and made up by now!
  8. I found this odd! This building was built just a couple years ago at the intersection of Muddy Creek, Glenmore, and Glenway and has never had a tenant. I noticed it went into forclosure ala the giant forclosure sign that has adorned it for the past year. Drove by today, and it is completely gone! Now, somebody lost their azz on this deal!!!! http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&hq=&hnear=Cincinnati,+Hamilton,+Ohio&ll=39.136905,-84.614264&spn=0,359.997573&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=39.136883,-84.614366&panoid=GV30NLjwnDTIg7rlt2X4wQ&cbp=12,5.5,,0,1.62
  9. 35,099 in attendance today for the largest ever Nippert crowd. A great showing! One gripe I have about Nippert though is not enough restrooms. Missed 13 minutes of the 2nd! Have they always used port-o-lets? Maybe I need to give the booz up!
