  1. Those images are tiny thumbnails... try re-uploading at higher resolution if you want them to be legible. Standby, working on it
  2. Here are this weekends press releases
  3. This is a good sign that the real residents are at very least open to listening to the proposals. The neighbors around me have felt more jaded by the politicians from other neighborhoods coming out saying "No" without any real input from real residents than they have by FC or Berding. We will find a lot more out between tonight and tomorrows meetings West End Community Council to outsiders on FC Cincinnati stadium issue: Back off https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/politics/2018/02/11/west-end-community-council-outsiders-fc-cincinnati-stadium-issue-back-off/326401002/
  4. Appears to me that so far most if not all of the "No" people speaking out against this are people who are NOT West End residents. Dwight Tillery Wendell Young Cecil Thomas Josh Spring Brian Garry Michele Dillingham etc. Does Joe Mallory even still live in the WE?

I expected that number to be higher. Most people I know dabbling into this are not wanting to give the exchanges any bank checking info.
  6. They are beginning to disappear on Beldare now with a lot more frequency as well.
  7. The commercial district of Lynn St has been sitting mostly vacant since it was built. If FC moving in helps to create businesses to open here then people can call it whatever they want. Vacant buildings serve no good purpose to any resident of the West End regardless of the social status. https://www.google.com/maps/@39.1118857,-84.5276207,3a,38.1y,57.12h,97.77t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1snvjMXEfVtDdId3VNM6xYZQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/@39.1111124,-84.5276554,3a,61.1y,100.07h,102.7t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s12ooK3pkhK7Ahol_PDwkaw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en https://www.google.com/maps/@39.1081127,-84.5279499,3a,48.9y,76.32h,96.6t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sJ5tE8xDdqDY4MM1gRDAKRA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en
  8. IMO, I think it's already a done deal. Now it's just getting the final presentation ironed out with the community council. Berding to attend Feb 22. West End stadium for FC Cincinnati? Neighbors want a voice in the process http://local12.com/news/local/west-end-stadium-for-fc-cincinnati-neighbors-want-a-voice-in-the-process
  9. How serious is FC Cincinnati about the West End? The club hired Mark Mallory to do outreach https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2018/02/02/how-serious-fc-cincinnati-west-end-club-hired-mark-mallory-do-outreach/300304002/
  10. While we are posting West End landmarks, I sure hope that if a stadium is built that some useful purpose can be thought of for this beauty. https://www.google.com/maps/@39.1078169,-84.5277354,3a,41.5y,305h,101.28t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sHvy_ZvgXhRJFeeGYp2I0LQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en
  11. I've been living in the Dayton St District for 3 years now. These demographics from 2010 have changed quite a bit since then. Regardless of your view on gentrification, this neighborhood is changing with or without a soccer stadium. I've seen several middle class families move into what used to be vacant boarded up buildings just 3 short years ago. The spillover from overpriced areas of OTR and the desire to live downtown may be fueling this trend way more than a stadium will.
  12. Curious, where is that?
  13. ^Nowhere does it say anything about tearing down housing. Just peoples speculations and conspiracy theories. Everybody just needs to wait and see what happens here.
  14. ^True. Neither case is ideal except placing it 10 feet up or more on the pole.
  15. ^Parallel doesn't make it look any better. I'l have to remember to snap a pic later to prove that. That's what causes an issue with exiting a vehicle on street passenger side when the pole is so close to the curb.
  16. If I park on the street next to the pole by my house now, the passenger in my vehicle can't even open the door.
  17. I have one in front of my house on Dayton St. It only took a week before it was tagged with some nice "Hood Art". They are very unsightly boxes.
  18. A bridge near Bender Rd (which was discussed decades ago) would be ideal. It would go a long way in helping access many affordable homes on the Ohio side.

Things are really getting interesting now. South Korea plans to ban cryptocurrency trading, rattles market https://in.reuters.com/article/us-southkorea-bitcoin/south-korea-plans-to-ban-cryptocurrency-trading-rattles-market-idINKBN1F002B
  20. ^Powell Valve? Is that the old Lunkenheimer Co building?
  21. Isn't KC streetcar free to ride?
  22. ^Or does it really even need interstate access?

I completely missed the link to Mt Adams initially. Awesome find though!

Cool stuff! Let me see if I have this correct? First link is looking Southeast with Dayton KY in the background Second is looking West with St Peter in Chains and the Western Hills (Price Hill area) in the background Third is looking Northeast with the present day 71 cut (Walnut Hills, Mt Auburn, & Prospect Hill) in the distance
