Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
I like it! WCPO just showed a rendering of a taller structure in the northwest portion of this phase. Any insight of tenants or height? The rendering showed an approx 20 story block with no facade on it. They said they will report to the Urban Design Board in a few more weeks with details of the building (I guess). The grocery store is a great addition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 25,000 SF

^Because unlike his personal vehicle, the seats in the streetcar will not have phone books stacked up on them as to see out the window. :-D

Cincinnati: Downtown: Fort Washington Way Cap
I believe they covered their bases well when Ft Washington Way was redone some years back. This was designed and planned WELL for Cincinnati. Now, with everything coming online (ie: Banks, QCS2, Streetcars, more people, etc.) all they really have to do is lock the financing in and build it. I know it's a little more complicated than that, but I think this will go off without a hitch and not take long.

Cincinnati: Downtown - Parker Flats
^I'd have to agree! Style of toilets, bathrooms, etc. boils down to personal preference. I, personally don't see a need for anything more than what is being offered with these units.

^Would it have anything to do with overburdened tracks with freight trains taking precedence? We NEED a major overhaul which should include some NEW dedicated passenger lines only!!

Great shots! I certainly hope that any future rail projects for the state include this place. Pictures really do it no justice! I find myself staring off into space everytime I go there. It truly is one of city's finest (and underutilized for it's original intent) Gems. http://www.cincymuseum.org/explore_our_sites/union_terminal/

Cincinnati: Brent Spence Bridge
Hearing on opposing rerouting of I-75 BY THE ENQUIRER http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080622/NEWS01/806220397/1056/COL02 QUEENSGATE -- Business owners, public officials and others who do not want to see Interstate 75 run through Queensgate are expected to turn out Tuesday for a public hearing. The hearing, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Queensgate Ramada Inn, 800 W. Eighth St., is focused on routes for the I-75 approach to a new Brent Spence Bridge. Roxanne Qualls, chair of a Cincinnati City Council subcommittee on infrastructure and transportation, hopes to show enough community opposition to get the Queensgate option crossed off. Maps of the routes can be found at www.brentspencebridgecorridor.com under "Alternatives" and "Conceptual Alternatives Solutions."
