The amount of investment that has taken place in downtown Newark has been remarkable to witness.

Seems like there is some foreshadowing going on with these comments. Right? I’ve always heard rumors that Park wanted to build another tower across from their N 3rd Tower. Something just seems too secretive about this.

What are the plans for the Coliseum? The OHSAA Commissioner Doug Ute has said that they plan on returning the Central District basketball tournament to The Barn by next season. The only problem with that is the condition of the facility is in no shape to host it. It needs MAJOR work...i know there are planned renovations of the Coliseum, so are there plans or renderings released yet?

700 mill....and its still open air...not just no...but HELL NO!!! This is why he is moving the team to Brook Park. This is about building a dome...plain and simple.

At this point, i am fully expecting to read an article about the Browns relocating outside of Ohio completely...again!! What a cluster this is turning into...

So, can Granville please stop with all the hysterical student enrollment concerns and allow Newark and Heath to do what’s best for their communities??

Ahhhhhh...So at the expense of offending people...they drastically hurt the kids instead, because attending Gahanna in this form, it hurts their opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities...BIG TIME!! Makes total sense...don't worry about the kids being impacted...worry about the offended parents isntead. Got it. edit...i've been to GLHS a million times and i can say this with certainty...it needs split. Period!

That is going to be one MASSIVE high school!! Why didn't Gahanna ever consider splitting into two schools? Gahanna Lincoln and Gahanna Jefferson just seems too easy to do. There is not a lot of opportunity for kids to actually make a team, play and be active in sports at Gahanna. Very limited opportunity!!

Sorry if somebody already answered this...but what is the status of the Dublin Fieldhouse??? I know this may not seem like a huge need for some, but Central Ohio needs a high school venue of this size...DESPERATELY!!! The Central District OHSAA tournament is a joke. I sure hope this wasn't scrapped?

Such a shame. Sounds like the historic "The Avalon Building" could be demolished after it caught fire last weekend.
