  1. Could this site be used for a new stadium?
  2. I see that The Collins has an advertisement on Apartments.com. Looks like you can move in on January 7, 2025.
  3. Looks like they have an advertisement on Apartments.com. No rental rates are quoted. You need to call.
  4. So, an investor gets to pay to have the privilege of tying up their money for 4-6 years and then get the privilege of paying millions of dollars to demolish buildings that are full of asbestos? I think I will hold on to my 5% return on T-bills.
  5. So, it's a failure because it has too many cars? That reminds me of Yogi Berra quote - No one goes there anymore because it's too crowded.
  6. I know that it's not as sexy as the new apartments and restaurant, but is there any update (photos) of the renovated parking garage? That garage was an eyesore.
  7. They should put a Nike store in the lobby
  8. You can see the Swoop on the top of City Club in the 2nd picture.
  9. I'm not sure if anyone had posted SWs 2nd quarter update. It's on their website. Headquarters Project Milestones (sherwin-williams.com). I was not able to paste in the link.
  10. I've worked in the commercial real estate market for over 30 years and live in South Florida. Downtown Miami and Brickell has a very impressive skyline. It has about 14 million SF of office space (much of which has only recently been built) which is only 1 million more than downtown Cleveland. As for the former SW space and also for the Centennial, this space will be counted by the commercial real estate market as vacant office until it is re-purposed as multi-family/ Hotel/ etc. Cleveland's stats will only improve over the next few years as these conversions are completed.
  11. #1 Washington #2 Philly #3 Chicago #4 Cleveland #5 Pittsburgh #6 Richmond #7 New York #8 Greenville #9 Kansas City #10 Salt Lake City
  12. Cleveland ranks 4th in the US in the conversion of office space into Multi-family.
  13. I question that survey. I live in South Florida, and I see a ton of people moving here from CA. This was very rare in the past. I was talking to a couple that had just moved here from San Fran. They were tired of the constant poop on the sidewalks, homelessness and having their car broken into on a daily basis. The police won't show up for any crime unless your life is threatened. The same is happening in Seattle and Portland. Crime in these cities is underreported since the police won't get involved. Clearly, if these cities were peaceful, people would not be voted with their feet and moving not just out of the city but out of the state and across the country.
