  1. That’s so interesting. Wonder if it was rent increase, or maybe some kinda personal issue for the owners. Either way, I’m bummed. I finally tried them out this May and liked them, and now they’re gone. Maybe it’s my fault lol
  2. Where were you able to find the pricing? I’ve been looking.
  3. I’ll be so pissed if they just convinced Charmy’s/Hills to move to the Peninsula ā˜ ļø I’ve had it in my head that it’s gonna be an Aldi, but could see a TJ’s as well. Apparently Publix is expanding north too, with a new store in the KY portion of the Cincy metro, so wouldn’t be upset to see them start expanding into Cbus either.
  4. This rendering was def always just a grab for TMUD credits. The developers even admitted this would not move forward without the tax credits. Also, even though I believe the towers in this version do look way better than what we currently have, it still suffers from the same fundamental problem, which is that it’s a giant block-sized parking garage as a base with a couple towers awkwardly placed on top.
  5. Also not on the May agenda, so will now at least be a wait until June :/
  6. I think terrible is pretty strong. I’m not in love with it and think it would look way better if broken up into 2-3 separate buildings. Regardless, I’m excited for another downtown grocer, Broad St activation, and 250 more housing units.
  7. Weird, didn’t make me sign in. I wanted to post screenshots but I’m over my attachment capacity and idk how to delete attachments. I’ll try to use a different uploading service. Edit: Try this: https://filebin.net/wby8bthxynl3s1z9
  8. Sounds like we’re looking at ā€œ121 affordable housing units consisting of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The target AMI is at or below 30% AMI up to 80% AMI. Proposed exterior alterations include as needed, like-for-like repairs/replacement of historic building materials, replacing existing windows, removing fire escapes and adding a stair tower.ā€

  10. Woda Cooper signage and fencing now up around the old YMCA building perimeter on Long and Front. Still don’t think we’ve seen any solid plans for the redevelopment yet tho, have we?
  11. I’m so excited to walk through it. I hope work starts on the food hall portion soon too (or has it already started?)!
  12. Honestly looks really good and will complement the nearby Jones Heel apartments pretty well. Just needs better screening for the garage. Either do murals or line the front side with lobby, amenities or retail.
  13. This neighborhood is really coming together so well. Makes me miss living at Gravity. I really hope that growth continues in both directions of Broad.
  14. ā€œCommissioners said the tower's design is "not appropriate" and lacks public art and community engagement. "I really encourage the applicant to really dissect the architecture, the aesthetics and try to find something within the neighborhood that feels right," one commissioner said. Area resident Bob Singleton attended the meeting. He said the tower is, "too big," pointing out the shadow the structure will create in the afternoon. "You can't call it a gateway, it's a barrier between campus and the neighborhood," he said.ā€œ
  15. Looks like residential conversion is off the table now. Glad to hear the tower will be getting more investment: Downtown Chase Tower sells to California investor who plans to invest 'millions' into offices ā€œDowntown's Chase Tower has sold to a California investor who plans to spend "millions" improving the building. Los Angeles investor Andrew Brog and a partner bought the 25-story tower at 100 E. Broad St. from the Virginia firm Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners. Lingerfelt bought the building in 2019 for $9.5 million. Brog did not say what he paid but said it was less than $5 million, a price that allows money to be spent on improvements. About 30% of the building is occupied, said Brog, who said he plans to keep the building offices instead of pursuing Lingerfelt's plan to convert 22 floors of the building into 253 apartments.ā€œ https://www.dispatch.com/story/business/real-estate/2025/04/24/chase-tower-downtown-bought-by-los-angeles-investor-andrew-brog/83246869007/
