  1. Press was able to tour the about-to-open first phase of CoverMyMeds’ new Franklinton HQ. Here’s the Dispatch’s write up, with several pictures of the interior. Almost makes me want to work there! https://www.dispatch.com/picture-gallery/news/2021/05/17/photo-gallery-tour-covermymeds-new-headquarters/5132988001/
  2. I didn’t think I was going crazy 😂 I think using the old facade as the corner of the build will look more attractive anyway. Hopefully the rest of the structure will look better than the old renderings...
  3. Oh wow, that was quick! For some reason, I was thinking they were saving these buildings and building over top.
  4. Would be kinda cool to see a bar or coffee house ran out of it. But, aside from being old, is there anything architecturally of value this building offers? Not being sarcastic, just wondering.
  5. New senior apartments planned on once-blighted site near Westland Mall “Woda Cooper Companies plans to build 60 affordable apartments near the Havenwood Townhomes site, which sits just west of and across Georgesville Road from Hollywood Casino Columbus near Westland Mall.“ https://www.dispatch.com/story/news/2021/05/10/grocery-store-new-apartments-show-signs-life-new-senior-apartments-built-near-westland-mall-spur-mor/7290227002/
  6. Apartment building to replace Italian Village hookah lounge “Roby Development is seeking permission to build a brick-and-glass structure containing 53 apartments on the site of what is now the HYER Hookah Lounge at 1020 N. Fourth St. across from the Fox in the Snow cafe.“ https://www.dispatch.com/story/business/2021/05/10/italian-village-apartments-proposed-site-hookah-lounge-north-fourth/5020066001/?fbclid=IwAR2d3majaNzdDHsfmRWoEey-6FTx_KtbzyxX7fLip6WENoPfmj6TVQ-hgbc
  7. Saw what looked like a pro-density group demonstrating outside the former Giant Eagle this morning. Hopefully it’s driving the whale watchers crazy...
  8. Don’t think this has been posted about yet. “Apartments Planned for Historic Building that Tells the Story of a Neighborhood” The new plan for the site calls for renovating the existing building to accommodate 27 apartments, while a new, 28-unit building will be constructed behind it. The new building will be three stories tall and contain a parking garage (a total of 61 spaces will be provide for both buildings). https://www.columbusunderground.com/renovation-new-build-planned-for-harrison-west-bw1?fbclid=IwAR0TuG4GWEzM-FGkfobvb04cTSVInoGCbeLJqmyFroVDnBaPl4NjXCvXxcs
  9. My bad, I can’t read maps apparently 😂 I knew they wanted to expand RMH, and possibly add more commercial on the two current surface lots.
  10. Hmm, looks like one of the lots NCH was hoping to get approval for rezoning?
  11. Thanks for posting! After a relatively slow 2020, things are starting to get pretty exciting in Columbus! I can’t believe how much has changed since I’ve lived here, and I feel another 5-6 years, it’ll feel like a whole new city all over again.
  12. Demo work complete on the site of NCR’s senior living center at the corner of Broad and Glenwood.
  13. Based on this CU article about the meeting, sounds like it’s referring to BRT. https://www.columbusunderground.com/proposed-franklinton-building-grows-to-15-stories-bw1?fbclid=IwAR1tStW5GaIE9SvniiqIOm0yFERL9HDJmy15e4LiIqbDQR88M7_F96AyOSg
  14. Just waiting on Harmony and North Market now 😜
  15. Was too rainy to get a good pic today, but it looks like the base of the tower crane has been installed. With this and the crane at Gravity 2.0, I believe we’ll be at 17 tower cranes in the city!
  16. Lol you’re good. It was posted on a public page, but I figured may as well go back and edit it just in case anyone gets upset.
  17. Thought I’d responded to you awhile back. Here’s an article talking about some of the back and forth between the two. Love the pettiness of the LLC’s letter 😂 https://www.google.com/amp/s/abc6onyourside.com/amp/news/local/kossuth-street-garden-makes-one-more-appeal-3-28-2021
  18. This one is my favorite so far. Love reading about neighborhood drama 😂
  19. Yikes. That post is embarrassing. And I don’t even live in SP. 😳
  20. That’s awesome! I’ve noticed them doing some work on the buildings in the past couple weeks, so I figured an announcement would be coming.
  21. Finally drove by this garden last week to see what all the noise was about. Never realized how small it was + and the amount of parks/garden within walking distance of it. Considering the need for housing in central Ohio, I think I agree with building here.
  22. Yes, especially with the focus being on critical care. Lots of work there. I’ll be more impressed if they can get the staffing by 2025 😳
