Connolly Cos. begins construction on new mixed-use building in Marysville “Connolly Cos. began construction this week on a mixed-use building that will offer new commercial and residential space in Marysville. The developer, which is based in Marysville, broke ground on what it is calling the McCulloch Building at 124-134 Emmaus Road. The 16,000-square-foot building will provide up to five spaces for retail, office or restaurant tenants as well as 11 apartments. It will sit on a vacant lot Connolly developed as part of the Green Pastures subdivision in Marysville. Neighboring businesses include CVS, Truitt and Truitt Optometrists, Donato's, Pathways Credit Union and Stir Fresh Asian Canteen. Renderings for the new Preston Centre steakhouse space are out: Cameron Mitchell reveals name, new details about downtown steakhouse planned for Edwards Cos.' PNC tower project “Cameron Mitchell’s new downtown Columbus steakhouse now has a name. Butcher & Rose will open next summer on the ground floor of 155 E. Broad St. at Preston Centre, the downtown building previously known as the PNC Plaza. Columbus developer Edwards Cos. is transforming the building, one of several high-profile efforts underway to convert downtown towers for new uses. Jeff Edwards, the firm's president, said he is excited for the restaurant to be part of the project and expects it to attract visitors and residents to the development. The new restaurant is described as a “reimagination” of the steakhouse incorporating both traditional elements and modern touches. Christian and Missionary Alliance moves forward with phase one of Alliance Place mixed-use development in Reynoldsburg “The Christian and Missionary Alliance is moving forward with the first phase of its massive development in Reynoldsburg. The religious group has announced a groundbreaking date for Alliance Place, a mixed-use project that is being constructed on 14 acres at the former Kmart site at the southeast corner of East Main Street and Brice Road. The ceremony will be held on June 16, and will include remarks from Alliance President John Stumbo, Reynoldsburg Mayor Joe Begeny and civic leaders. Phase one of the future Alliance Place development includes the construction of anchor building One Alliance Place and a three-story parking garage, along with site work such as utility tie-ins, entrance streets and surface parking.
