Id be interested to see how those numbers stack up to cities we compete with. Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Nashville, etc.

Anybody heard when Corso plans to open the couple places in the bottom of the AC? Those will really help link the Arena District to the Short North. Also I just want to see Park St. make a comback to its 2016 days when it was the #1 place to go out in the city. It would be cool to have these open around the same time as the ground floor restaurant at the Hilton.

And have the whole thing give some odes to the Victorian architecture of the area

Brian Ellis said the gravel lots behind the Chipotle development are next up to be built, wants to get it going asap and it will be about 150 units. Just waiting on the city to bury the power lines but that has been a big hurdle.

If so, that’s a HUGE bummer because those original designs were PERFECT imo.

I’m worried about that Jackie Os patio expansion project. Feels as though it’s gone quiet, when it was announced it sounded like they wanted to get it going and completed super quick. I hope it happens because frankly it looked badass but also I feel like it will continue to bring nightlife options into that pocket of downtown with Pins, Holy Trinity Brewing, Aura Lounge, Slammers, etc. I also want as much development to surround the sea of surface lots across from Wolfe’s Ridge so maybe we will finally see some development there. if you’ve seen or heard anything that I’ve missed on this please send it my way!

Heard Brian Ellis COO of NRI said “let’s ramp up construction in GVY and Arena District”. What that means exactly I’m not sure but any recent NRI proposals might have new life.

New apartment building coming to The Yard. Should be 128ish units finished Spring 2023.

Not sure if this type of discussion is allowed but what are the top 3 place you like to see a proposal for in 2022. Bonus points if you say what type of proposal as well. Mine would be: 1. Check cashing building in the Short North off High St./Family dollar building off High St. In the Short North 2. Huge surface lot off 4th St. downtown across from Dirty Franks and 16 Bit. 3. Even huger surface lot off 4th St. downtown across from Wolfe’s Ridge Brewing.
