That’s good news because it’s kind of an eyesore at the moment. Trying to think of all the cool/cheesy names they could come up with for it.

What is up with this LC building? Appears to be finished or like 99.9999% done for the past handful of years and no one seems to be moved in yet. Have they just abandoned the project or are they out of money to finish? I couldn’t even find a site online to look at the interiors of the apartments for leasing.

Wow those look awesome! Love the rainbow rock art sculpture similar to the ones I’ve seen in Vegas and Miami. I was just traveling in Portland and Seattle last week and was so jealous of how good their apartments look compared to ours. It seem as though our best looking ones are the standard, but projects like this definitely make me feel better about the future of our housing (in some areas) lol

Did they say what would be updated in the new one or is it just bigger overall?

Do you guys think the construction on this is going fast or slow?

This building in Franklinton got a nice makeover

Does anybody know what is going in at the NW corner of High and 5th? It’s the old American Apparel/Madison USA space. Also it looks like the space that held the art supply store BLICK on High St. is getting a new tenant as well, if I had to guess based off the interior work it looks to be a salon (exactly what the neighborhood needs more of smh) but I could be wrong. Any insight on these?

Anybody know what’s going in this space? Was thinking maybe the new Shake Shack. Haven’t heard where exactly in Polaris that is going to go.

Any update on that Jackie Os expansion. I think out of all the projects around the city that one is one of the most important as far as how much I can bring to that area of downtown. The renderings looked amazing so I hope it gets approved and they can get it built asap.

Agreed that atrium feature on the bottom of the old version was super cool and should have stayed in the plans in my opinion

It would be cool if they had some sort of material on the garage that could be painted on so they could just keep going with the mural to have it wrap around the side of the building to cover up the garage as well.

Does anybody know what percentage of this area is built out now? I do think the individual buildings look solid but it doesn’t feel very cohesive at the current state.

I brought up on the r/Columbus about having a downtown ferris wheel somewhere maybe at the scioto mile and got destroyed for it. I think it would be a good attraction, would look good if it had a nice light up feature, and would help with our spotty skyline.

I just want a smithsonian, moma or last but certainly not least a big downtown aquarium. Something on the scale of the Georgia aquarium, but that won’t happen in my lifetime.

I would take a downtown gym just as much as TJ and WF. 24 hr fitness, planet fitness or even something nicer than that would be awesome. There’s literally no bigger box gyms in the downtown area.
