Agreed. I could be wrong but I would think adding a cool exterior design to parking garages can’t be that expensive. Thats my biggest pet peeve with the all concrete garages I see around town.

Is the metro park scheduled to be finished in 2021?

I just appreciate how quickly they built this. If only this was the standard speed for all Columbus development.

I was never clear on where exactly this will be placed in relation to the other towers.

Makes me wonder...with all of the new facilities they have, where will all the new employees look to live. OTE and German Village would make sense because of proximity but I feel like those neighborhoods don’t have much vacancy nor do they have a lot of new development.

Is the fieldhouse still part of the plan? Was trying to envision where that would fit it seems like there isn’t a lot of space for such a large project like that, but I’ve said that before and been wrong.

Looks awesome. I really hope they have some feature to help it be seen at night. Maybe some type of lighting on the exterior of the roof.

I really want Franklinton to look like wynwood district in Miami Fl. with all the art.

Grandview Crossing making some progress. I hope Dublin rd (33) sees some development between Grandview ave and Fifth ave. There’s a lot of potential for some nice mixed use mid rise projects along that stretch. Also does anyone know when the quarry trails park is supposed to be completed. Specifically the park portion with the bike trails, rock climbing, etc?

Does anyone know or have a link for what will actually be built on the 9 acre GV Yard expansion?

Budd Dairy Food Hall Update Budd Dairy Food Hall in Italian Village still is coming as well. That project has been in the works since 2108 and was near its opening when Covid-19 hit. “It’s built. It’s ready to go. It’s permitted. It’s passed its health inspections,” Mitchell said. “It’s sitting there ready to go but that’s designed to have 500 people in it. Unfortunately, we just can’t open it.” Spring or summer 2021 is the new target. “We’re really excited about it,” he said. “It’s unbelievable space. It’s really dynamic.” Budd Dairy also is adding another chef-partner. Applications can be found here and are open through the end of the year. A Del Mar SoCal Kitchen previously announced for Naples, Florida, is moving forward as well. Its delay was unrelated to the pandemic and it is now scheduled for fall 2021. It’s a joint venture, which reduces the costs. The company also is working on a new Ocean Prime in Kansas City, though it will be operated under a management agreement, with the developer doing the build-out, which also reduces the capital outlay for the business.

I heard rumors Cameron Mitchell purchased it but I guess that never happened. I hope they end up making it a open to the public on certain nights like Juniper was, would be silly not to.

I think it fits really well right there. Taller would have been nice but I’m still hopeful the green space just to the west will get something 10+ stories tall.

Like it but the rest of the buildings there really need some work they are a huge eye sore on that prime section of high. This nice restaurant will look odd next to the abandoned buildings.

Examples of parking garage exteriors that don’t suck a**. Might start a petition for them to do something better. It’s annoying because I drive past it several times every week.
