I really dislike the metal curtain thing they installed on the garage. I may be biased because I was in Miami recently and noticed the parking garages there have really cool exterior designs. Either way this is really ugly to me.

That’s one of my favorite projects for the city at the moment so I run by it every week to see if any progress has been made. Still nothing. Tempted to dm Kaufman on Instagram for an update. Would be cool to see Phase 1 of The Peninsula and Garvity 2.0 in construction at the same time. That area will be a gem when it’s totally built out in a few years. I think it will give the short north a run for its money.

Hate to be that guy thats being nit picky about something Im really happy about but I really hope they do some kind of lighting feature on the stadiums roof. The black is just kind of meh. I honestly really like how Cincinnati FC did theirs it reminds me of the Barclays in Brooklyn. Looks so good at night especially.

What am I missing in this photo? Is it highlighting the growth of the area? Not being condescending just honestly trying to figure it out.

What all do you think could make it better?

I wish the hotel proposed for 31-35 E. Livingston Ave. would happen. Would make for a nice little pocket of development.

I know it’s been awhile, but has there been any updates on the hotel proposal and appeal process?

Whole Foods or a Trader Joe’s would be so nice. Probably won’t happen for a long time. I also think downtown will need a big name gym at some point. I live downtown and LA fitness in grandview is very crowded. A planet fitness or (wishful thinking) a lifetime fitness somewhere downtown would make sense.

So ripe for a tower. Fingers are still crossed. Would be awesome if it could get started by 2022.

Likewise I hope it’s iconic

I really wish Day Companies would do something with the Madison building. It’s such an eyesore at this point. A rehab would be great but if it’s too costly then knock it down and replace it.

Thanks for this I’ve been wondering since they topped out. Kinda sucks it’s a similar sounding name to Clevelands newest tower. I hope someone will take over the space Juniper left.
