Wonder why they switched from the original plans. I liked those 100x more. Maybe it was too difficult to find a nice restaurant that could take up two stories. I remember they teased that they were in talks with some really big name popular restaurants and I got excited.

Honestly… I know I’m probably in the minority but…I’d trade all those being built for just one big beautiful 60+ story tower

Definitely would like something in the central downtown area. Also I would love to see a more upscale or at least a name we don’t have currently build something here. Looking at you Ritz Carlton, InterContinental, SLS, Omni, Waldorf Astoria, etc.

That would be a good location to be replaced for something taller in my opinion. With how many places have come and gone I think the retail space with upstairs/downstairs is just too big or awkward.

Maybe they can be converted into that one day. I love that this has a bunch of hotel rooms included but I wish we had another larger hotel project in the downtown area going right now or at least proposed, but there are any that I know of.

Always wanted this to be a museum of some sort or maybe a second location of Marble Room in Cleveland

All I ask is for a proposal of the lots directly behind Ebb & Float. They’re my least favorite lots downtown by a long shot.

Looks good. They announced recently that they were opening in March but those photos make it seem like there’s still a wars to go. Either way I think it’s going to bring a lot of activity to that already somewhat busy area.

I know this is not exactly development development news but whatever happened to that wood fired restaurant wood company was supposed to open. I can’t for the life of me remember the name.

Bridge Park is nice but it feels like a poor man’s The Gulch in Nashville. Could be much more interesting.

Agreed 100% on elevated park. It’s a slam dunk project that needs to happen and I hope it gets going soon. Downtown needs as many free amenities as possible.

Edwards tried to get Trader Joe’s to open at The Nicholas but TJ said no.

I don’t live the gabled roof but it does add height (however minimal it is I’m always in favor of more height)

Still a couple more huge gravel lots right next to this that we need developed.
