Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Excuse me sir, but these older structures help sell that mix of historical cleveland and a new future. So the smoke stack stays and a new use for the building should be found. Egad! Some people just put me in a bother

Cleveland: Buckeye-Shaker: Development and News
Doh! I didn't think to check Google earth, I checked streetview which had tantalizing equipment but that doesn't always mean success

Have the Knez Lakeview commons been stuck in limbo

Cleveland: Buckeye-Shaker: Development and News
What happened to these, were they ever built?
-
Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
You see these dont make me want to rip my eyes out and fit well within cleveland imo, are these currently built ones also in the city?

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Is there going to be a public block club hearing on these new homes? Id like to be there to voice my support with the small caveat about the materials

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
Excuse me if i entirely off base here i dont entirely understand track rights and all that but lets say i was elected mayor on the single promise of making this happen, could the city, state or what have you then use eminent domain for the rights? If i were the head honchos at CSX id mandate my name would have to be incorporated somehow to immortalize myself that alone would have me sold, these guys dont know how to Rockefeller. Its so frustrating not being able to see this extension come through. i feel like when it comes to passenger rail of any kind it takes a biblical amount of effort every single time.

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
What they have is potential. After looking them over I did find myself not entirely hating what's going on but I am still adamant that a more natural material for the facades will do wonders so I'm hoping to see that evolve a little bit.

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
id be much happier if they were more natural looking finishes. Plastic white and grey just arent doing it for me and it seems a shame to be losing these homes since this street has so many great looking ones. I live in the CMHA building immediately adjacent and since its no longer senior living/disabled its gotten some seriously seedy people in here. I do hope we dont end up pushed out in the future because moving to tremont has been the best thing thats ever happened to me.

Live and work! It's been fun seeing all the progress in tremont proper I'd like the Clark end of town to get some love ASAP

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Snapped a couple pictures. Maybe this will put the sunoco out of business when people see a much better option across the street and then we can see his lot developed? I worked for that guy a couple years ago and between the illegal use of international student labor, illegal fireworks, counterfeit products and products specifically and only used to cut street drugs with sold there it can't be that hard to shut down if it comes down to it damnit..

Cleveland: Fairfax: Development and News
Are there plans to build more of these in the city?
-
Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Its an insane idea but given it's location there is so much freeway traffic alone that it could support it. The sunoco is a dump i used to work there full time but now only go in when i need a couple extra bucks so when i say it deserves to get closed i mean it for a myriad of reasons i wont get into now. The only value it provides is the fireworks they sell out the back during july 4th. The thing is, and you mentioned it, is that since we have to have gas stations this is a great urban-form design that doesn't create desolate holes along the street front. Maybe they need a go fund me

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Is this project stalled on w14th and clark? The first urban form gas station in Cleveland and while it wasn't really asked for here itd be nice to see this design get built. It's been stalled exactly like this for.. Good God i want to say a year

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
God damn a great development but i wish it was housed somewhere else i love those little row houses. Honestly id complain less of these damn architects actually had a single ounce of taste and individuality

Affordable Housing
Ive always enjoyed the look of those terraces, i am seriously dismayed that their worse than they seemed. No excuses to let these rot the way HUD is doing so *Read the article again and realized these are subsidized but privately ran apartments, correct? Nonetheless its hard to believe these pass any sort of inspection..

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
I used to live over there looks like i need to do some exploring to see how things have changed. There was an article i read about some homes in Central built by an irish immigrant architect being restored. Can anyone fill me in because i can not remember where they were..

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
As funny as this jab is the residents on the street specifically mentioned issues with trucks even being able to physically go down the street
-
Cleveland: Population Trends
Is there a copy of neighborhood censuses? Id love to see tremonts most info i found from a cursory search was outdated. I sure hope cleveland turns around. So much is left to preserve and if people keep leaving much more will inevitably be demolished. Though i believe university circle will be one of the greatest catalysts for the surrounding areas in a long time.

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
Just left a tremont block club meeting. Unfortunately had to have early, but a developer was looking to put a 80-100 unit building on w11 near the pedestrian bridge. It's a very tight area street wise lots of questions on parking/public utilities apparently even current residents feel the city can't adequately provide things like garbage service it's so tight. We'll see how things progress the developers intentionally reached out early according to the presenter so lots can change.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I think they look kinda cool unfortunately theyre inherently bad for getting people on the sidewalk and in stores so they really shouldn't be used
-
Cleveland: Hough: Development and News
Yea i mean its definitely not perfect but its isnt as hideous as link59 or the hilton on euclid avenue by e55th those things are monstrosities.

Cleveland: Hough: Development and News
You're right i like their taste thanks for sharing. I did a perfunctory google search and got mostly stuff based on a border wall contract and im like.. "I dont think Ken appreciates their border wall aesthetics.."
