Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Absolutely ridiculous especially because so many decisions of this city are already concluded behind closed doors with no possibility of public involvement, or at least an understanding, and all that has had genuinely detrimental results

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Ugh the ever dreaded beige

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
So are these prospective developers or interested parties with capital? Its encouraging to hear they like the energy around the city i really thought 2020 was gonna do a much bigger number on the city

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
Gah i really like those townhomes just wish they weren't so close to the downtown core. It's okay though it's nice to see the rest of that get filled in. Now we just need to push further down and get rid of the crazy horse

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
@NorthShore647i live about 30 seconds from the new gas station they're building. I kinda wish they just turned it into an overall store but at least it's kinda an urban fit *I meant to add the fact that three gas stations can exist on that corner and be profitable is astonishing

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
I lived on 58th and lorain and going east down lorain i was surprised on how much was new or relatively new construction or ongoing projects. I think it's hit a point where that neck of the woods is really hitting a healthy stride

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
It would surely be nice to see some new brownstones itd look particularly cool down there. Im curious as to why there is an aversion to that in city or maybe I'm wrong and am just missing them

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I agree theyre nothing special but in my opinion i think thats why i like them. They fit, theyre unassuming and they have a bit of charm without trying to look like theyre more than they are which results would end up with a cheap look. I wish we had some more interesting facade designs being presented across the city but overall I'm happy with these infill.

Cleveland: Campus District
There is a beautiful old structure right next to st vincent on 22nd and Central i hope to god they incorporate it because it really is a stunning piece of architecture and ill never forgive them if it is demolished.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Don't get me wrong I'm not exactly complaining and I think they're perfectly fine, but out of curiosity did üwe just forget how to make attractive and interesting facades? This project is such a bore

Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
Will save this for later as a good "before" pic

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this land unstable and pretty much condemned? Cleveland sure isn't afraid to gobble of owners of East side property for whatever they see fit. Christ, take this thing away from him

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
This seems like a familiar conversation where the issue of vehicles becomes a focal point and instead of taking a reasonable, yet arguably more difficult, approach by expanding the presence of mass transit the conversation starts tilting towards more parking lots. I say we just demolish everything and pave it all add some buses to nowhere for the peons, cause what reasonable person wants to ride a bus? After all that we give it a nice urban renewal style naming convention and begin a new chapter for Cleveland.

Oh kick ass! Thanks for posting.

Cleveland: East Side Neighborhood Development
I knew this was going to be another late 20th century style "urban renewal" project. Slap in an urban highway demolish everything along the way and oversell the "neighborhood potential". Maybe I have it all wrong but seeing the glinpse along 55th at the rapid stop made me question whether we were sold a pipe dream and just got more of the same old. I could be entirerly off-base and I hope I am. Do we know if they're adding a bus line to cover all of the corridor?

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
As amazing as it'd be to have developments in cleveland be centered around no parking this is a terrible idea. The 81 is an awful bus to rely on as it shows once an hour I believe and during the winter it'd be hell trying to expect that many people to get around. Maybe if cleveland had a stronger and robust transit system it could work but we just don't have the infrastructure to support a no parking development.

Cleveland: Hough: Development and News
Honest to God I wish I could personally fund an architectural revival movement complete with privately funded street cars! My only realistic ray of hope is that at least Hough does have a future and we will just have to find a way to accept and appreciate that for what it is.

Cleveland: Hough: Development and News
Ah damn I was hoping more of Hough could be kept intact but the reality that it's new identity is the way forward and very little will be saved is sinking in for me.

Cleveland: Slavic Village: Development and News
Very excited for this! I have a lot of love for Slavic Village so much potential here.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
Can you put a NSFW tag on when you talk like that? I have a feeling though that pushback will be strong if we have some massive projects in the works a lot of people moved to these neighborhoods for the small town vibe in the city. Maybe I'm wrong.. hopefully I'm wrong

Cleveland: Buckeye-Shaker: Development and News
An unfortunate development hopefully what ultimately replaces it isn't more plazas but unfortunately that is par for the course on the east side
-
Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
Just seen on the Cleveland subreddit that Min Ahn is closing up shop for what they claim to be a temporary time. I'm curious to see how certain this project still is
-
Cleveland: Glenville: Development and News
Maybe I have no taste but I can't help it when I see those apartments in the last picture and realize that they in fact look nice and turned out much better than anticipated
