Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
The cops do that with red light running, people parking on side walks, in bike lanes, and on crosswalks. Nothing new. I lived on Main for almost 4 years and the parties happened before the pandemic and after. The streets are absolutely disgusting Saturday and Sunday mornings. Not sure what the solution is.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Where would I find the contact for West End? I will happily submit something for Linn/Bank/Central.

Correct! And they've cleared so much of the trees and rubble on the side of the hills already. Looks completely different! I'll get some more photos but this was last week

So does the owner have to knock it down? Shore it up? The streetcar will be blocked for weeks! Fortunately it was second Sunday and there weren't people underneath or parked there.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
Just moved from my condo at 14th and Main. Can confirm this was a daily occurrence at 14th. People run lights on main without even looking frequently. I witnessed this multiple times daily. Cars stopped and parked in crosswalks, and not yielding to pedestrians in the raised crosswalks as well. Police officers included.

Just ran by all of these buildings over the weekend and saw some more activity. New portalets, updating fencing, cleared land, etc. Especially the Jackson Brewery. Very exciting to see!

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
I am in the exact same boat. Just came back from Florida and i don't miss it at all. Though it would not surprise me if this fails. These people are too close minded to see how other cities, states, and countries are successfully using trains as the foundation of their transit system. Not cars.

Glad to see the local media covering it...... But seriously what a great thing for this city!

Cincinnati: West End: Development and News
Fascinating that was the feedback. I've talked to RedBike in the past and they said the Bank/Linn/Dayton St. Bike station was their busiest. Walking/biking safety go hand in hand. This area is incredibly dangerous. People fly around that corner and get aggressive with walkers and bikers crossing and honk/yell at them. I see it almost daily. Crossing Linn is frightening.

Can't wait for this! Once the city installs a bike lane on Linn from 8th north to Bank/Central this this will be massive for the West End.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
They have blazing 5mbps data speeds in the West End. I tried to get their service on Dayton St. It's a joke how little they've invested in their own backyard.

Yep, it used to be 2 lanes until 1950s. It was widened almost exclusively to connect to planned highways 71 and 75.
