A five minute time savings is pretty significant... How do we get the city to act on this?

In my comments I mentioned raised crosswalks and signals as well for example, Dayton and Linn or Bank and Linn. It's not great yet but much better than what we have today.

I absolutely agree with that. Option 4 would be fine too IMO. Not sure how 6 got there...

I do think an E/W route would be interesting. I'd personally love to see what is proposed above. Could the city fund this themselves? I'm not certain. But it is exciting to think about...

I'm happy too! My condo is currently listed on Main haha. But seriously. It's changed so much in the 3+ years I've lived on Main. I absolutely am astounded and excited.

Very cool to see this building get a plan/funding. I run by it weekly and it's beautiful.

I love on Main by the Woodward Theatre. Its been busy the last month. Much like a pre pandemic weekend. I'd say it's actually busier now (this past weekend) than it was before the pandemic. The weather was amazing. The streetcar was FULL. And bars were hoppin.

I misread the quote in the article. It was worded weirdly but has since been updated in the enquirer article.

Unfortunately it's the same group who did the Banks. So I'm afraid it may be corporatey and lame. I don't want the neighborhood to be a playground. We live here.

Interestingly enough, I talked to red bike when inquiring about the destroyed kiosk; the kiosk at Bank and Lynn is one of the most busy ones they have!

Funny because pedestrian and bicycle safety go hand in hand. The red bike Terminal at Bank St was plowed into on Xmas Eve by someone speeding through Lynn past Dayton. It's incredibly unsafe to cross Lynn anywhere and people don't obey the posted 30 mph limit.

One can honestly hope!
