Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
For real, if there's gotta be public money then why not go for something like the Bills stadium deal? I don't know if these ended up being the final numbers but I think that one shook out like this: State: 39% County: 16% Team: 45% Just seems crazy to expect Cleveland and Cuyahoga County to be the ones to pony up a significant amount of the money

Suburban Cleveland: Development and News
I'm sure the cost to convert would be insane but at least Campus 1 is in what feels like a desirable area - right next to a ton of restaurants and shopping, about 5 minutes from a Heinens, and walking/biking distance to the high school. Not to mention it's adjacent to the highway too.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
Thanks to the Cleveland Bill Bot on Twitter I've uncovered some details on the restaurant moving into the long vacant spot at 12104 Larchmere Blvd: https://cityofcleveland.legistar.com/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=6283103&GUID=1A7CC268-6449-450D-BDEF-5980C2130A6F It appears the restaurant will be called Colina. The associated LLC is tied to Margaret and Adrien Aeschliman, the latter of whom owned Italian restaurants in Baltimore last decade before moving to Cleveland: https://www.baltimoremagazine.com/section/fooddrink/bottega-offers-a-taste-of-tuscany/

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
The plan is still to eventually allow for green or blue line trains to be able to transfer to the western part of the red line without riders needing to change trains, right? I'm holding out hope to be able to get from Shaker Square to the airport with just one train

Is there any reason not to be cynical about this? On the surface it just sounds like another master plan to add to the pile- Cleveland: Festivals, Music Concerts, & Events
Mahall’s Halves its Bowling Lanes to Open New Event Venue- Cleveland: Festivals, Music Concerts, & Events
This one's been sold out a while, pretty sure OSEES have been playing and selling out the ballroom every year since 2015 (besides 2020 due to covid). Also saw that the July Black Midi and August Beths shows at the Beachland sold out too, guess it's time to stop waiting til the last minute to get tickets!- Cincinnati: Festivals, Music Concerts, & Events
bikemail replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & EntertainmentPavement and The Walkmen are huge gets, both high-profile reunions and in Pavement's case who knows if they play Ohio any other time before hanging it up again. The rest of the lineup is basically the cream of the crop for contemporary indie rock plus a legend in Patti Smith. I've heard some grumbling in other forums regarding the change in venue but with this level of talent I can overlook it.- Cleveland: West Side Market News & Info

A lot of interesting tidbits in Steven Litt's new piece for cleveland.com, but this one stood out the most to me:- Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Absolutely electric game yesterday - just about everyone played up to their potential but there's still room for improvement (Mobley/Allen/Osman are all capable of much better offense). Encouraging signs but hopefully they're able to steal at least 1 game in NYC and re-gain homecourt advantage- Cleveland: Festivals, Music Concerts, & Events
