Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
That's good news. It's a shame that a lot of these murals are essentially spatial placeholders and will disappear, but at least it's for a good cause.

That would be sad. I was born in that building.

The parking lot sea surrounds the apartments, like I said. It's a typology I don't care for. My comment had nothing to do with the rest of the development. And, really, you can't imagine it being any other way?

Apartment buildings in a parking lot sea. yum.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Adams Landing
Admittedly, Eastern/Riverside isn't the most hospitable street, and it still looks like an Embassy Suites, but at least you're taking a half hour lunch break to give a damn. Thumbs up.

One that recognizes the topography, the parks, The street, and tries to do something interesting with that problem rather than just give up and plop down a Medium Residential Sim City 3 tile. This looks like it would be right at home on Chester Rd. in Sharonville.

Not a one of those buildings has any idea that the others are there, despite the fact that the two newest are (will be) fraternal twins. It's definitely a tough spot to work in, but the flip side to that is that the challenge of building there can sponsor something interesting. These buildings are just cynical. They have nothing to do with Cincinnati, and Cincinnati is staring them in the face.

Downright scary to walk on. You almost have to, though, because you can only access college from mound from within south bexley.

That's funny. I have a very specific warm peanut butter and jelly sandwich memory from the old Natural History museum.

Their HQ is essentially a Giant billboard visible most predominantly from far north on 315.

Hotel? Retirement Home? Apartments? A false facade that cloaks a waste treatment plant? Cannot tell with Ndukwe.

Newport, KY: Ovation
The entire Ovation developement is (going to be) pretty ugly.

Cincinnati: West End: TQL Stadium
I did make the comment in passing based on the images at hand, but to dismiss the relevance of even noting the similarities and differences in bowl designs because they're all just basically circles (?) with seats all around and aisles in between is a naively broad generalization and an oddly patronizing response in a forum filled with people that pay attention to building minutiae. Any image search of stadiums will yield bowl designs that vary wildly from one another.

It was a crack about the yards in that rendering.

That rendering is apocalyptic.

Looks to be a little less Hannaford in it than the last renderings they shared...

I get it, anecdotes are a private matter. Unassailable. Meanwhile, nobody here looks outside. That's certainly not why they're here. Thank you for the reminder to do so.

Because some people go through stop signs, it is proof that putting them there in the first place was misguided. Logic.
