  1. Oh, but, future commercial development (by others)! I don't understand what's going on in that area. Is Cox Road a stump of its former self and the golf course is new, or is it the other way around?
  2. My assumption is based on Veritas' partnership with Crawford Hoying at The District. Hard to believe they'd move onto something this massive if it wasn't going to get built.
  3. gonna eat that guy with the purse.
  4. Trinitas developed The Deacon. Though I think it's safe to assume the tower at The District is going to get built with this news?
  5. I suppose it's more accurate to call it a lantern.
  6. yeah, the rest of the spire needs to make a comeback. that it's missing the very top is pretty obvious.
  7. awww. choo-choo train themed. looks like it's no longer in danger of being derailed.
  8. My complaint is more about mashing them together to break up the volumes (because knee-jerk design says that's a rule) rather than lobbying for brick.
  9. if there are issues with securing a bank loan that are contingent on that much parking, why not move into an extant structure like adriaticos did in columbus? There's like 8 spots behind their building, which houses at least three tenants. Hold strong, Mr. Tuxedo.
  10. Looks better than a lot of market rate stuff being built, but why are developers so afraid of unbroken materiality? Guarantee these would look better with all-brick facades, or at least a one material commitment per unit. Oh, and I'll take the house where the stick man can't see in my window.
  11. Maybe revive Acropolis chili, put it and Adriaticos on opposite ends, and open a Greco-Roman wrestling gym in the middle?
  12. Don't understand why a small pizza joint needs a block worth of parking. So, no apartments above, but Is Adriaticos going to be the only tenant below?
  13. Really depends on what gets put back into the building.
  14. Looks like a hotel without a front door. Ndukwe scores another... safety.
  15. What are the demographics between short vine and reading, traditionally? In the days I knew all kinds of people around UC (1990s), I never knew anyone who lived in that area.
  16. it does say "BELVEDERE" on it. edit: how did you teleport to the west end?
  17. It's mandatory these days to have at least one mistake in your journalism.
  18. I remember when you could drive all over UC campus at will.
  19. At first glance when I began reading your post that was a seat cushion.
  20. funny that dale and vale both mean valley.
  21. I wasn't correcting you, I was lamenting that the allowable floors are rarely maximized in Cincinnati.
  22. People think they live on a homestead, not in a city.
