  1. That will make it the most expensive house in the neighborhood. I wonder how many SF it is.
  2. I think they need to do a full investigation into Hartnett and what payments she received for this project.
  3. New Houses coming to West 65th street and Father Caruso Drive
  4. Based on the maps online this looks to be outside any historical district review - Just neighborhood block clubs and city planning if I am reading the maps correctly. https://clevelandgis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=f15dec13ee6648bcb218d4f5c8290691&extent=-9098561.0092%2C5083779.7628%2C-9089388.5658%2C5088408.9803%2C102100&showLayers=TaxMap_Parcels_CAMA_RP_WGS84_7384%3BTaxMap_Parcels_CAMA_RP_WGS84_6753%3B17db9d26973-layer-137%3B17db9d298f5-layer-139%3B17db9d28155-layer-138%3B17db9b4b75a-layer-78%3B17db9ac34bf-layer-77%3B17db99a3486-layer-29%3BAddress_POI_WGS84_6486_0
  5. I don't think this is part of landmarks district of review. Their review district doesn't extend north into the detroit shoreway neighborhood. Otherwise Trott would think the building was too tall.
  6. the restaurant looks out of place in those renderings
  7. that's a great look for all those people on Franklin that complained.
  8. the Planning Commission needs to tread lightly on this. The project is within zoning code. Design is subjective. They failed to give any comments on what they would recommend to improve it. And on a side note I did notice in Jenny Spencers letter she referenced the Westinghouse Building as a project.
  9. that new design needs a lot of work - I am glad City planning didn't approve it
  10. These meetings should be longer to have a better time for Q&A and a debate. Whoever said the barista should be open to the public is spot on. I would want to have coffee there.
  11. Super excited the Cha project got approved by BZA today. Bring on the pizza.
  12. I am not sure why so many people think every project in Cleveland needs involvement from Cleveland artists. To me the building is beautiful and a beautiful building is art. If we all want to see bad examples of architecture there are many. I'm celebrating this as a win for the city especially after Progressive and Eaton went to the burbs. Three cheers & lets get to groundbreaking.
  13. what is this about Cha being proposed somewhere in Ohio City?
  14. The green space left on the Jacobs site doesn't seam that big. Planting areas, fountain, art, etc. I think they will need to pick and choose wisely. I am excited to see more developed renderings of the buildings. I have high expectations.
  15. concrete has now filled the final hole for the road between 70th and 73rd. hopefully this will open soon
  16. I love the design of the tower - they now just need to elevate the design of the pavilion and garage to match
  17. excited for this one - a connection to the shore way would make sense
  18. I'm looking forward to watching next weeks meeting on youtube
  19. I like the plan and looking forward to seeing the final designs later this year. I think the building on the Jacobs site has the possibility to be a jewel box with a glass tower behind it. The only disappointment to me is that the linear around the parking garage isn't part of the project and tagged as future development. They need to be pushed to have that completed.
  20. does anyone know when the new road from 70th to 73rd is going to open?
  21. The Board of Zoning has nothing to do with saving trees. The conversation about the project on west 50th went sideways. As their legal counsel pointed out the Board of Zoning is there only to vote on zoning matters. The two items for approval were minor and approved numerous times.
  22. I thought a City Planning and Landmarks meeting was being scheduled. Anyone know when this is?
  23. Thats a bummer - I thought this one was going to happen
