Northeast Ohio / Cleveland: General Transit Thread
I think it would have to be built off 25th by 2000ft or more if needed(maybe between Fulton and 25th) from Ohio city to around Biddulph ave then on top of Pearl Rd to Parma. I think its too narrow on 25th for rail. but, i do have to say it looks great in Toronto,ON, cars share the Right-of-way.

MBNA cutting jobs in Beachwood or not? (Cleveland)
Okay my info is 2 years old, my bad. BP Tower attracting mainly local bids By STAN BULLARD Crain's Cleveland 6:00 am, May 3, 2004 At least three bidders remain in the hunt for BP Tower, even after high-profile business leader Monte Ahuja counted himself out of the running following the rejection of an offer he made in tandem with the Goldman Sachs financial firm. A group led by real estate investor Mark Munsell of Beachwood continues to bid for the property, and three sources who asked not to be identified said Werner Minshall, the Maryland-based co-owner of Tower at Erieview and Galleria downtown who has family ties to Northeast Ohio, remains in pursuit of the skyscraper. There's at least one more bidder for the 45-story Public Square tower, one well-placed source said, but the source declined to identify that bidder. ... http://www.crainscleveland.com/

MBNA cutting jobs in Beachwood or not? (Cleveland)
I wish they would build a building on PSQ to close the large gap. but i don't see it happening since the BP building is 25% or more empty.

Mayfield: Progressive Planning Expansion
Smoking weed was not the reason, but a article in scene or free times did. i am going to try to find it. i only believe 10% what they print.

Mayfield: Progressive Planning Expansion
I heard it was because progressive wanted to have the tallest building in Cleveland, on top Amtrak station but it was denied because it to high and to close to Burke airport. and i heard it was b/c Peter likes to smoke weed. The bp building on paper was taller than the tower city. (it depends on who you pay!)

The owners have said they have there own plan. i believe that when they close all the bars and stop teens from getting killed there, after the whole tax scam f the owners. I have alot of hope for this project. Good luck to Mr Wolstein. hopefully he over come this!
