I took the day off on Thursday and headed down to BrewDog for some lunch and drinks with a friend. Gorgeous weather, the patio filled up really quick, and this was at like 1-2 pm on a work day! They were shooting a promotional video there which surely contributed, but there was also a cornhole tournament and beer pong being played. Driving down Carter from Columbus rd. still feels surreal to me, I love the neighborhood feel it already has and will only get better!

Any progress on the restaurant or speakeasy? They should be bringing in all the help they need to get that done especially with nicer weather here and that two-tiered patio just sitting there unused

Anyone catch the news this morning? Coworker said Rocco Whalen was on talking about Illuminate Cle tonight and mentioned SHW would be lit up. Unsure if he was just referencing the new sign or the whole package

I also forgot that the pavilion is supposed to have color-changing lights that mimic the colors the tower is set to. I would have to do a deep dive to find where I read that. It also looks like that outdoor area on the tower has some small lights

This is the only rendering I've seen with the crown lit up. But yeah, all the renderings with the strip had them changing colors.

Better get that lit crown! The vertical strip is cool, and better than nothing, but the crown would be seen from all angles.

Stopped into the new AJ Roccos. Didn’t get any pics of the front, bar area but I will definitely be back. Food smelled delicious.

I'd have to imagine if there were any plans for a second tower this delay has almost certainly halted those for awhile. Hope I'm wrong though

Grabbed a couple pics en route to the new Good Pizza on E. 4 (little pricey but delicious). I know we all hoped for a little bit more, but the Shack looks pretty good in person. Landscaping and lighting will definitely help too.

Great move! And article. This topic was brought up on the Cleveland reddit thread (perhaps by someone on this forum) and this comment caught my eye. Are there more apartments planned for this area? Or were they maybe referring to the handful of homes being built further down Carter Rd?
