I forgot to mention when I posted my pics on Thursday how active downtown was. It was right around noon and tons of people were out, sidewalk patios filled up. Was definitely a great sight/feel. I even stopped for a hot dog and had a nice chat with the vendor while noises of clinking metal and hammers filled the background. Beautiful day lol

I just bought a brand new bike from Joy Machines in Hingetown and my seat broke lol if I can get it down there and fixed by then I am in for a bike ride

They should create a few full-time jobs whose main task is to repair and replace broken/burnt out lights. Architectural lighting is something I am huge on and it grinds my gears when I see this.

Also, I liked that they were initially naming the restaurant The Hippodrome for homage reasons. But J'Adore sounds nice and classy.

From the video, what exactly is going on here? It looks like people sitting on steps that lead to a pit? And the section just north of it is a giant opening that drops down to the tracks below? Seems dangerous and weird. Looks cool though, I'm just confused what this is depicting.

We should all message them about it so they know how much it would be wanted and to get a move on!

With ALL DUE RESPECT to the artist, I am not a fan of her work. I think it is pretty ugly. But she is a well respected artist and I will gladly accept whatever she comes up with. I would let children with paint and crayons up there at this point.

Good god that parking garage is atrocious. @LibertyBlvdeluded to it earlier, any chance that lot on prospect gets developed any time soon? I'd imagine this development makes it much more attractive now @KJP

What does the hotel business look like these days? My mind is still stuck in Covid times and airbnb's are now popular.
