What is the foot traffic like over there during workdays? I'm sure it is practically nonexistent on weekends. Just curious if this place will get any business because I always get sad seeing the hard work and effort put into opening something new when I feel it is doomed from the start.

Exactly. I know Egypt is currently constructing an entire new capital city because Cairo is already too congested and overcrowded, with the population expected to double by 2050. Granted, that is also a 20-30 year project... but that is an entire damn city, not a riverfront project.

I just realized the second floor of the restaurant will have an outdoor patio/seating area above the sidewalk. Pretty sweet.

I didn't even realize they started work on the parking garage! I'm always too busy staring at that beautiful structure rise. Has the shack build commenced yet?
