Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
if we had a construction cam I might not get anything done at work. So there is one pro to this questionable delay.

Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway Megaproject
Damnit, apologies everyone. He misspoke, it's actually E. 9 and Bolivar. He showed me the site pictures, so he is heading to where the new apartments on Bolivar, east of E. 9 are going. Updating all the transformers. Apologies if anyone got excited like me.

Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway Megaproject
Was just talking to a guy at work a few minutes ago who is getting ready to head downtown. I asked where to and he said E. 6 and Bolivar. He said there is a two-story parking garage that is having four floors of apartments built on top of it. I don't recall hearing anything about this development. This site is directly in between Progressive and Rocket Mortgage. Could this be a start of a ballpark village?

Why is the steel coming out of the concrete columns so much higher on this current floor than the previous ones?

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
You keep bringing up Peru as your lone example. I can assure you this developer is not trying to or won't be able to avoid property taxes on this project. You cannot compare Cleveland, Ohio to (in your words) impoverished Peru where they purposely make it look like crap to avoid paying taxes. We get it, you hate the design of the building.

You will likely know the results more than most of us Ken. Will you be pumping out an article shortly after the announcements?

Did I recently see somewhere, maybe in one of Ken's recent articles, that the TMUDs are being announced on Wed. Dec. 7th? Is that when we find out if this project gets built or not?

Agreed. The last good news we have gotten was the approval of the apartment complex on Bolivar, east of 9th. Any updates on that?

New boss in KC doesn't seem to be wasting time on their ballpark village. Wish we had a vision here that isn't talked about for 15 years before it is postponed or cancelled.

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
I know one of the project managers at NRP. She is currently leading the affordable housing development on Broadway then was supposed to shift over to their project on Scranton Peninsula in February. She told me about a month ago they were planning for a Spring groundbreaking. Then just last night she told me they are struggling with financing and need to come up with $15 mil. She said they will find the money but no way does it break ground by the beginning of Spring.

Disappointed to not run into any members at the private UO Lounge East. I did, however, run into the superintendent of the project up there from Cleveland Construction. Super cool dude. Gave me his number so I should have some inside info for us if needed. He said they are looking to pour the third level in about two weeks, and from there it should start moving quicker. I guess with the layout, among other things, the first three floors have been the trickiest. Also they are hoping to get about 9 or 10 floors out of that concrete pump, then have to bucket it up with the crane. The restaurant, which will be to the left of the elevator core in the pic, will be two floors. Dog park will be in the back of the building. And they are building a covered walkway from the second floor of our parking garage into the building to the elevator area. Also, among plenty other amenities, thought it was cool they will have a little movie theater for tenants to host movie nights at. On the 2nd or 3rd floor, couldn’t remember. Oh yeah, he also said they will begin moving people in next summer, but only floors 1-4 i think he said? The building will top out around then too but total completion won’t be until Spring ‘24. Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
The Cole Eye expansion began in the summer, correct? I just read the expected completion date is late 2025. Does that seem like an extremely long time to build a four-story, 150,000 sq. ft. structure? Unless maybe hospital buildings have more hurdles than the larger skyscrapers that go up in less time.
