Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I still think it’s possible they put a 5-star hotel ontop of the center on PS. Everyone from out of town on business to new hires for training can stay there.

@KJP does this still have the green light for next Saturday?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
In this article, towards the end, K&D Group CEO Doug Price basically confirms that the SHW Center For Excellence or whatever they are calling it will be two stories tall. Sounds like, from his quote, that he has seen renderings too? https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/cleveland-metro/work-already-starting-on-project-to-turn-55-public-square-into-one-of-the-most-exciting-buildings-in-the-city

Been pretty quiet here. Any news of a groundbreaking @KJP?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Didn’t @KJPreport that the training center on PS would be roughly 2 to 3 stories? Someone did I thought, sorry if it wasn’t you Ken. Regardless, that cannot be the final grand plan for that piece of land. I’m beginning to believe the ultimate plan is to build the high end hotel ONTOP of the training center. Keep everyone in one building. With a potential skywalk connecting to the main tower.

Another key factor to keep in mind is lighting. How it will be illuminated at night. Comparing our two most recent high-rise developments: during the day, I like the appearance of The Lumen over The Beacon. At night, The Beacon stands out way more with its distinctive lighting as opposed to the Lumens abscence of any lighting. Obviously we all want it to look great any time of the day. But just like how a few beers can bring another persons appearance from a 4 to a 9, the lighting can surely do the same.

Who would have thought that an apartment building (The Lumen) could potentially be taller and better looking than the Global HQ of a Fortune 500 company?

Hopefully the keep the flow of the updated Public Square westward with lots of greenery

Excuse me for speaking candidly but a paint museum and “possible retail” on Public Square? Who the f*ck wants to go see a paint museum? Why don’t we just forklift the Lumen over to this spot and pay PIckard Chilton to atleast light it up at night.

Also, that new Dominion Energy tower above is 1 million sq ft. but only 20 stories tall. And it houses roughly 1,000 employees

Same! We just need some renderings already

Posted today on PC’s instagram. Is this something similar to what we should be expecting? I think I can get onboard with a design like this.

Just so I understand: is the main tower going on the lot circled in orange? And the potential second building where they were seen drilling going in the lot in purple?

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Yeah I just assumed with a building called the Lumen, you would have some sort of distinctive lighting. Love The Beacon reference. Those bands around the middle are unique and I’m a big fan of them.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Thats what I was thinking!! Why wouldn’t they want to show off the newest addition of the skyline with some illumination? Or can you not light up all glass?

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I haven’t made it downtown at night yet to check this building out. Is it even lit up at all at night? Miles away it’s hard to even see it
