Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
I actually cancelled my apartment about a month ago after they asked me to push it back yet again. The final straw was that the rooftop wouldn't be ready until "at least end of July" so I just washed my hands of it. Too many headaches

My brain is scrambled from all this stadium talk. Can @KJP or anyone refresh my memory as to why the city refused the Haslam's the land they wanted on the east side of downtown? Going off this picture Ken used in his recent article of the Vikings stadium, it looks basically identical to where the Browns stadium would go if you're looking west. That area is a parking lot dead zone. Plus you keep the Browns downtown, revitalize that area and can still develop the lakefront.

I'm guessing the Sherwin Williams logo and lighting will be some of the last things completed?

Yikes. Very niche and cheesy. Not expecting this to last long. But those are just my opinions and I sincerely wish them all the luck, and kudos for being brave enough to try something different.

Had dinner at Fahrenheit on Friday. Place is gorgeous, food fantastic but service was absolutely terrible. Won't go on a rant about it and I will go back, but yeah awful service. Back to SHW!!!...

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
This onslaught of Progressive advertising has gotten insane this year. We’ve all seen the ridiculous amount of signs on the outside of the stadium but they sure want people watching the game to know where they are playing too. Does anybody know why the sudden explosion of Progressive ads basically on any spot they can find? Maybe it’s the Dolans trying to help pay for their upgrades.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Wasn't able to make it down with the crew today but I just spoke to them. The project manager down there that they have been dealing with said he has heard the rumors of a second tower but nothing is set as of yet. Which, to me, is much better news than that 12-story rumor I relayed last week. Also, the guy told them that the restaurants and hotel are definitely planned. Apparently the hotel will be 20+ stories but my buddy never asked what brand it was going to be.

Not a clue. If that's the case, hopefully it's a 22 story parking garage lol

Take this with a grain of salt, but I just had a conversation with a manager who has been in constant contact with the supervisor in charge of the underground utilities of this site. I don't know when, but apparently they are getting ready to start underground utilities work for the second tower. They want that tower to have its own transforming power instead of running it off of the main one. The bad news is that the guy said the second tower is 12 stories tall. Hope he is wrong, just what I was told.

This town can't even remove jersey barriers from their city center without two thousand studies and a few hundred surveys

We have a crew delivering a switchgear to the tower next week. Monday, as of now, so I'm going to try to tag along and get into the building with them. Quick story I was told yesterday: the aforementioned crew was there yesterday examining the layout of the vault room it's going in and planning everything out etc. On two separate occasions a couple workers were threatened to be fired by "Sherwin Williams people". One instance was because a couple guys were carrying around orange, five gallon Home Depot buckets. The other was because a worker noticed a divot in the ground so he grabbed some spray paint and marked it off/drew a circle around it. I'm paraphrasing but it basically went like "If you want to keep your job you'll never bring that on this property again." I just shook my head. Talk about a bunch of tight ass pricks.

That very last shot is awesome! Really shows the scale of Waterford Bluffs and the Scranton projects

Sign looks good. The "C" is great too. Does anyone have those renderings where they also wanted to light up the outside of the upper decks with red/blue? Those looked awesome and hope that is still in the plans. Would look kickass next to Rocket Mortgage with their curtain glass wall lit at night.

Great article Ken. This is beautiful and looks like it could be Intro's cousin. If only them Bridgeworks folks would take notice

For me, this project has gone from a spectacular game-changer for that site that I couldn't wait for, to a monolithic and bland prison that I would rather have nothing.
