Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I brought this point up a long time ago in the Flats thread. With the size of our population, all these separate entertainment districts will just bleed attendance from the others and cause multiple business closures.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
This was the absolute perfect location. But the city stood pat with their refusal. Such a shame.

If this becomes reality, how much of this becomes attached to Bibbs resume? I would sure hate losing the Browns on my resume. These past few years of dragging feet and back and forth negotiations at a snails pace and nothing constructive coming out of it after four-five years is ridiculous. Good for the Haslams.

My sense is that this is just the Haslams doing their due diligence and showing the City of Cleveland they aren't playing around. I feel this is completely a move to gain leverage in negotiations.

Love the uniqueness of each unit too. No cookie cutter going on, definitely adds some nice variety

I am growing very jealous/excited of what this area is becoming. Almost like a hidden treasure neighborhood but surrounded by so much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Totally agree with all of you. Especially in person, it was very underwhelming. But in all honesty, it was the amenities of the building and its location that really sold it for me. I went into this knowing it was just temporary and whatever time I did spend in my apartment would basically be sleeping and watching TV lol i’m a very low maintenance guy. But I am in no way defending their rooms, especially the cheapest studio I went with. I immediately walked into it and thought “welp, thank god there’s so much to do out there” And everyone is still invited for drinks on the rooftop. Just don’t expect an invite to check out the room, I’d be a little nervous trying to fit more than one person in there [emoji28] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got you, I took a couple pics. Was lazy posting them because there isn’t too much to see. But that speakeasy in the basement is much bigger than I was expecting, and love that the elevator goes right into the middle of it. And I also got pushed back to Apr 15. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know basically the bare minimum when it comes to construction and that the tower is the main focal point. But is it just more or is that garage moving at a snails pace? Or does all the turns, slopes, etc. make it much more intricate? Genuinely curious

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Just received an email. Pushed back to March 15. When asked if he is confident this will be the last time, the reply I got was "while I don't have an eye for construction, this came from our director of development. So hopefully no more delays." I will not be holding my breath. On the bright side, he did say he can offer hard hat tours now. So I have one scheduled for Wednesday at noon. I'll make sure to get a ton of pics.

Great job @Geowizical. That dark glass is sexy. Much prefer that over the blue.

Love it!! Begs the question though: would we all have preferred a 64 story tower or the two shorter ones we are getting? My vote would be for the former. Nonetheless, great news and I'll take it any day!
