  4. Sad day. Way to sell out. America is for sale.
  5. And isn’t the Stokes Federal Courthouse the fourth tallest courthouse in the world? Atleast it used to be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Sorry I just noticed this question this morning. But I just spoke with the manager of the street light department. He said mostly all of those poles are CPP's. Also certain cities have not opted in for the conversion program but instead chose a "change upon failure" route. So those high pressure sodium bulbs won't be changed to LED until they burn out. However, those HPS bulbs won't even be available in a few years so that's when you'll see everything switched over.
  7. I believe ArecolorMittal, Stelco, Nucor. I'd have to look
  8. They said that was part of the issue, yes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Welp, pushed back yet again. This is four times now. And as someone elduded to earlier upthread, I can confirm they are not happy one bit with Cleveland Construction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Oops been posting in the wrong thread. Thanks for summing up all the news currently out there @Dougal Only thing else I have seen so far worth adding is that ArcelorMittal has the financing to bid up to $45 a share.
  11. "U.S. Steel's board is meeting Wednesday, the sources said. The sale process is coming to a conclusion, but this does not mean there will be an announcement of the outcome Thursday morning. Cleveland-Cliffs' current bid is above $40 a share which is higher than its original offer of $35 a share made last summer, the sources said."
  12. Also, apparently US Steel is having a board meeting today. Buckle up folks!

  16. Very interested to see how the interior is coming along. Because it sure looks like the exterior hasn't moved an inch in over a month.
  17. An ironworker is a member of this group and commented saying that this wasn’t the actual topping off. He called it a theatrical performance for the big wigs to take pictures and celebrate the tax breaks [emoji28] He also said the actual topping off will likely be later this month! 18. @KJPI am respectfully requesting that you hold off dropping this on us for about 30 more minutes until I am home from work and properly situated with a cold Haunted Hayride from Masthead in my hand 😁
  19. From an article yesterday on Seeking Alpha. I’m having trouble sharing the link from my phone. “The US Steel (X) sale process is expected to continue through next week, according to Faber. It may take a couple more weeks to get a deal signed and that the parties likely want to get it done prior to the holidays, Faber speculated.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yes a recent pic would probably help lol anybody downtown today? @MayDay
  21. Great time for one of the last progress pics from @ASPhotoman
  22. I feel like this site would look better with HQ2 where the parking garage is rather than stuffed behind HQ1. Either way, I am thankful.
  23. This is just the beginning of our ballpark village. Like Ken said, I would not expect a supertall here. But I can't wait to see/feel this area in five years.
  24. Barring a catastrophic emergency, I vow to make this one! 🍻
  25. Same boat as you. Pun intended. But I'm guessing for music artists. Also looks like a good spot for a morning football show
