Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Gilbert can somewhat easily help to create a more urbane version of Peninsula, OH right there along the river, except with far more potential for amenities. I honestly don't think most people realize the tremendous opportunity the Towpath represents for locals and travelers alike.

Cleveland: Local Media News & Discussion
Someone at the station said it was policy to try to engage as many viewers as possible on social media. Common sense tells me if he ever texted anything improper it would have been screenshotted and we would all know about it. What I heard was that he was being compensated somehow for promoting businesses who weren’t sponsoring the station.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
These points are so obvious it's almost hysterical. Also, who the hell in their right mind wants to live in such close proximity to an international airport?

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Small world alert: my sister and her boyfriend had a small hippie store in the 70s and 80s in San Diego, it was called The Inner Mission. They sold crystal, books, jewelry, yoga mats....but the vast majority of their business plan was selling "other" stuff that wasn't on display in the store. Anyhow Luke's dad was their best customer. When I was a kid they would always send me Bill Walton autographed everything. For years I really had no idea who the guy even was lol. I kinda wished I could run into Luke sometime and tell him a few of the stories about his dad. They're all priceless.

The Future of America and Its Cities
I am not sure I follow that last line. The close distance immigrants I know (Mexican) work almost non-stop. Their families are back in Mexico and they likely will go back to Mexico to retire. They aren’t really here to acclimate bit their presence is beneficial: they are paying taxes and likely not even eligible to receive those benefits.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
The Brew Pub lighting at the bar area had been pretty awful. It made everyone in there look 10 years older lol. An historic and warm space like that needs much more intimate lighting. I hope they don't mess with the cellar bar too much.

Cleveland: Natural History Museum Renovation and Expansion
Interesting this positive story comes out the same day as some much less positive news regarding the Museum, management and some negative side-effects from the cost of the renovations. Not sure this is on topic, but it is something you can search for. Anyhow the place does look great in pictures. I am hopeful to find some time when I am in town to visit my stegosauras.

Cleveland Monsters Discussion
I have no doubts the city would support an NHL team. That being said I don’t need The Monsters (or the San Diego Gulls) to be in the top league in order to love seeing the games. The AHL is quality hockey and the fans make it fun.
