  1. They are installing the signage at the former BP building. That white picket fence shouldn't be around too much longer, I'm betting.

I'm no lip reader, but I'm positive James called him a "Bit*h." I am a lip reader and he did call him a b*tch. Good. Not that I like LeBron losing his cool and getting out-hustled, but good. Green did look kind of shaken to have James go at him like that. Or maybe it was the sheepish realization that he'd be sitting out next game. Guy seriously has an issue with assaulting male anatomy.
  3. Some outstanding publicity for the U of A.

Great set! Especially for the unlucky ones who are working inside way too much. That guy with the expensive tennis shoes needs to take those things off in the sand...CLE people, come on and learn some beach etiquette lol. p.s. KJP props to you for getting your lady to match her top with your Browns logo!

So glad I got to personally witness last nights championship. I also got to see the Cleveland Crunch win their title run back in 1994. I'm lucky!
  7. Funny how the good things never get seem to get the same coverage as the bad.
  8. There's some lack of confidence going around with regard to public projects. Euclid Ave and Celebrezze Building concrete issues come to mind.
  9. The rooftop patio/garden looks like it could be amazing.
  10. Ugh.....Nestle on W 25th. What a street killer.

^ I stayed at one in Santa Barbara and loved it. Quiet residential street. It had a nice little yard, four bedrooms, jaccuzi, backdoor deck/patio, outdoor shower and offered a degree of comfort and privacy for us that was simply a much better option than a hotel room. I can surely see how, at times, guests can be unruly or irk the neighbors with their bad behavior. But there are already laws in place to prevent disturbance, public intoxication and the like. In San Diego I'm hearing some neighbors complain about lack of public parking or having to hear guests "opening and shutting car doors at night" or "hearing luggage being rolled on sidewalk" and those people just need to get a life imho.
  12. ^ True. This design was stolen from the 1970's.
  13. It's a nice affordable price point and easily accessible for the daytime crowd. Sure, sometimes you gotta splurge on a food truck, but sometimes you just want to spend $3.00.
  14. Wow those are some bad pics of the city.

Better Call Saul season 2 was really good, you won't go wrong there. The Wire is an amazing show. Sherlock is smart and engaging. Those would be my choices. I enjoy the characters, camaraderie and pacing in NCIS but I don't think it's necessarily the kind of show that has to be viewed in chronological order. Mad Men is a much better show, but it's also depressing. NCIS won't ever depress anyone, it's just light and fun in comparison. Sons of Anarchy is a train wreck imho. You eventually get to the point where you just expect all of the main characters to die. Because they are so recklessly stupid. Oh, I don't know anyone else who watched this show but I thought Spartacus was very good (8.6/10 imdb). Finally if you are into shows where the writers and the actors are totally in sync with how ridiculously terrible t.v. can be, try True Blood.

  22. Whenever you get discouraged by Dan Gilbert's bad taste, just remember, this could have been a Caesars Casino with all kinds of tacky faux Roman ruins and columns and statues etc. In comparison to what could have been, I think we're okay.
  23. ^ I'm now jealous I didn' t get to help build this.

I actually enjoy watching the west series. Watching the Cavs is incredibly nerve-wracking for me.
