    I thought I'd hate this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mL05ggM3Lt0
  2. There certainly are some cool pockets of shangri la-type communities along that shoreline stretch of Euclid and Cleveland. My friends recently moved from Baltimore, MD to E 196th and they absolutely love it.
  3. I hate Linndale as much as the next guy. Regionalism sounds smart on so many levels. However I'm fearful there would be a drop off in quality and frequency of police service.
  4. Huh, today I learned that jpop was banned. SF is a fascinating situation to watch unfold. I'm currently being priced out of my beach community where rents are climbing by the hour. The idea of lobbying, rioting for worse writing a school play advocating for affordable rentals has never crossed my mind.

Cavs looked like garbage last night. They are just not an enjoyable team to watch.
  6. Hi Steve. How would the police operate under such a merger?

It's clear to anyone that the team was not running on all cylinders. I'm sure injuries played a part in that, but there is something wrong. It was a dumb mistake for the San Diego Chargers to fire Mary Schottenheimer after going 14-2. I'm not getting the same "this is stupid!" feeling from this move by the Cavs.
  8. Don't forget University Circle haha. What a nightmare. That's one of the easier ones I'd say. Just head straight down Euclid from downtown and you're there. Now, as for getting around the neighborhood, yeah, not as easy. Good point. Yet once you're there, not so easy. Even something as simple as saying "turn onto MLK" inevitably gets people lost.
  9. Don't forget University Circle haha. What a nightmare.
  10. Quote from: Pugu on Today at 08:13:12 AM I refuse to drive to Columbus to see something that should rightfully be in Cleveland. This quote from Pugu got me thinking that over the years I've gone 2 hours down 71 south for quite a few reasons. -CMH having much cheaper flights than CLE -Columbus Crew games -Blue Jackets games -Columbus Day parade -Comfest -concerts at Newport -Short North Gallery Hop -Work (commuted for two years) Columbus and Cleveland are very complimentary cities. On the other hand, I almost never go to Pittsburgh or Detroit.

All Them Witches is based in Nashville. My good buddy Robby is the drummer. For the most part he still lives in Columbus.
  12. ^ Overall a great video imho. However, even the mere glimpse of "Jersey" barriers on the waterfront was extremely disappointing. That's not what a beautiful shoreline is supposed to look like.
  13. Interesting how quickly the comment section became a debate over the limitations of Hopkins airport.

It's probably better for basketball that Golden State and their style wins out over the Cavs and their awful to watch iso ball.

The Cavs are so frustrating to watch, for so many reasons. Their weaknesses are glaring.
  16. I feel like this area along the river is much better utilized for recreational purposes. Phase II of the casino would fit in beautifully there if designed well. If the river is truly our waterfront than the Justice Center is probably the last thing you want there.
  17. It's lamer that the Bengals copied the Browns. And Pittsburgh is the only city that uses the same color scheme for all sports. These colors look great imho. Let this franchise build its own identity.
  18. I can't find a website for "The Edison at Gordon Square" yet. Glad to see the growing confidence in the market. Now if we could just get a stop added to the RTA's Cleveland State Line at the bottom of the ramps at Edgewater/West 73rd extension... Seriously good idea. The crowded events at Edgewater are proof positive there are still access issues that need to be addressed.
  19. You can certainly picture the streetcar zipping by those storefronts, for sure. Was there a moment of silence for Steve's Lunch?
  20. A bagel shop that is also a yoga studio? Or a bagel shop COMMA and a yoga studio. Dharma Shmear, they're a franchise. We've got six of those in San Diego.
  21. Ever wonder why that stuff never happens to Peyton Manning or Tom Brady?
  22. The other thing about LA is there are so many people there from other cities, so depending on who the Rams play, wouldn't surprise me to see a very large percentage of the crowd rooting for the road team. Not only that, but with the percentage of loge areas they want it's likely the place would be filled with even more indifferent corporate types.
  23. Got a Yelp message to check out a new place, "Bold" in FEB. Wanted to see where it was, so I hit up trusty Google Maps and found half of the original Old River Road (Peabodys, John Harvards Ale House, etc) still hauntingly there. How has Google not updated this? https://www.google.com/maps/@41.499378,-81.7059519,3a,75y,337.04h,91.15t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s0EM9knGU2qV5p7ExNu_2_w!2e0!7i3328!8i1664
