  1. I swear, stopping for pedestrians in the crosswalk gets the drivers behind you into instant rage mode.
  2. Like a captain that must go down with the ship, they should have put that architect inside that purple eyesore before demolishing it.
  3. I was just wondering the same thing yesterday- Public Square will be shown all the love in the world during the Convention- but what about the city's front lawn? I have to imagine it will be filled up with events during the convention.

Yeah! Remember the WKNR 20-20 Ticker?

I thought Ken Carmen was that, until he jointed up with A-hole. Adam and Dustin can be fun, but when they start talking themselves into a depressing frenzy and to the ledge of the I-480 bridge, then I have to turn them off. Sometimes I'll tweet them and tell them they're going off the deep end. I like Dustin enough. But his live reads are really terrible haha. While this is the hot trending topic today, I'd like to: 1. Nominate Jeff Thomas for some kind of unsung hero award and 2. Say I really miss Kevin Keene's postgame shows that used to be on WTAM.

The Really Big Show used to be fun....ages ago. Fun? I think Adam the Bull can be fun. Especially when he gets bad callers, you can just hear his voice dripping with disappointment!

While Goldhammer is annoying, he would at least fact check Rizzo on the Really Big Show. Now, Tony just makes stuff up, and his lack of preparation is evident. It is humorous to hear Jerod Cherry attempt to talk NBA or MLB, and mostly he falls back on his three Super Bowl rings. The show is unlistenable for more than a few minutes. At least there are some great podcasts (WFNY comes to mind) out there for Cleveland sports fans. Aaron's entire life revolves around show prep. Rizzo's show took a big hit when Aaron moved to afternoons. Agree with the Triv/Rizzo comparison; relying on their big personalities. That works great IF there's someone else there who is actually dialed in to what's going on.
  8. Is there a ranking of worst teams re: the draft? Because I'm wondering who could possibly be worse than the Browns.
  9. Staycation??? Yes. We have a wedding to pay for next year, ya know. Ya know in the Philippines it's customary for the brides family to pay for everything* *not sure if that's true, but worth a shot
  10. Wow. Good thing Akron and Kent State etc. are churning out all kinds of nurses. The Education majors still deserve our pity!
  11. Right. They seem to be average one story per week.
  12. Staycation???
  13. Great job. Wish I knew yous guys were in town! I could've shown you the dive-y-est parts of Ocean Beach! Noticed the chilly looking beach scenes. SD is known for having "boring" weather, but really it's quite diverse depending on location. SD county can experience every kind of weather imaginable, often at the same time.

Maybe a good place for chalkboard paint?
  15. Nice set! And vastly different looking from the week I spent there in winter of 93. Lake Superior is awe inspiring.
  16. What difference does it make? Would u rather have it vacant? Smdh I would rather it wasn't populated with this kind of kitschy garbage, considering how long it took for it to happen. I don't think this is an unreasonable expectation. Since when is having high standards a bad thing around here? I thought the Toby Keith concept was really bad. Here's hoping for an alternative that's more unique and more local in flavor.
  17. The Dolan family seems to sure have a knack for making their fans either apathetic or downright angry.
  18. I'm shocked that they're still using the "Avenue" moniker. Because i haven't heard it in twenty years.
  19. I've spent a lot of time in coal fired plants. These structures are really built to last. It may be short sighted to tear down so fast.
  20. FYI we had no issue getting a table for 8 on the patio at Graffiti last Sat night.
  21. My friend just moved from there after 12 years. He was always a big Tremont proponent, but not anymore.
  22. On a bike he was probably dealing, not out to rob people. Ironically, the people coming into inner city neighborhoods to buy drugs are much safer than those there for more innocent reasons. The freelancers know not to bother them. Yeah. For all I know he had a concealed carry permit.
  23. Guess I'll post here as a public service. I was in Ohio City last weekend. At around 1am I saw a guy on a bike tuck what looked like a handgun into the waist of his pants. Even in hindsight I'm still not sure it would have been a good idea to call police.
  24. Michelle had that rendering in her article as well. It's the south face of the building. I like the back of it better. It just looks more livable to me.
