Or how about the City View Center in Garfield Heights? There, problem solved. Plenty of room there.
  2. There's an Asian restaurant downtown that has had "CRAP MEAT" on their seafood menu for two years.
  3. "Come on down to the Avenue-hoo!" Great marketing campaign, they had.

Huh, makes you wonder if the next generation of computers are going to be partly organic [shudder].

    Is Heinen's already too cliche?
  6. I'm not seeing that many panhandlers. I am however coming across people shouting at buses, staring blankly and dancing to music only they can hear.
  7. Anyone else in the vicinity of 9-12 dealing with a higher-than-normal amount of insane people lately?
  8. You're way too late. I'm talking early 90's.
  9. I'm fairly sure Quaker Square Mall was before your time, but once upon a time that place was amazing.
  10. So U of A can't manage something. What a surprise!
  11. The worst part: We called the cops, who took 45 minutes to get there and seemed very disinterested in the details of what we had just gone through.
  12. There are some really good heritage names in U.S. soccer, like NY Cosmos, Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, Seattle Sounders, Tampa Bay Rowdies etc. The problem with finding new American team names is all the good ones have been taken. That's how you end up with awful names like the "Dallas Burn" and the "Kansas City Wiz" I think "Sporting Kansas City" and "FC Dallas" are drastic improvements.

Cool. Do you need a digital ready tv?
  14. My neighbors, not sure if from Burma or Nepal, sit outside their front yards all the time. But they don't use lawn furniture; they simply crouch down. I mentioned this to a yoga instructor friend and she believes it's much healthier that way. And that, as wealthy westerners, our reliance on comfortable furniture ends up as a detriment in the long run.
  15. Weird...who the heck else would wear a Youngstown State polo haha.
  16. FYI, I just saw Jim Tressel - or his doppelganger - leaving 1717. Maybe he's seeking a new CLE address :-)
  17. Gramarye, are you trying to give me a heart attack!
  18. I like CSU and I'm glad they're here, but it's just my opinion that it doesn't quite provide a great, well-rounded college experience.....yet. (ducking for cover)
  19. I'm trying to think of how I'd feel if I were an alumnus in that situation. Would I feel more inclined to give because of the current situation? Or would I be pissed off and refuse to give anything until there was a change in the administration? Oh this is an easy choice for me. The U has shown no ability to manage itself in a responsible way. This $300,000 expenditure for President A-hole's stupid house is a prime example. Instead I'll give my support more directly to athletic programs. And if I had kids I'd send them to Kent. You probably have no idea just how much it sickens me to say that.
  20. Akron just sent me a request for money. Now I know why.
  21. Lots to consider! Initial thoughts: -Brick streets were worth the extra money -Streetlights awesome -Very much a work in progress -Boardwalk looking good so far, but a bit sterile for my tastes -Open space = much further potential -I love boats -Wonderful view from the Waterfront Line station!!!! -Whatever those post-apocolyptic unkempt (and likely invasive) vines are along the river must be napalmed asap.
  22. My second mortgage is through Talmer....I'm still waiting for the day they become technologically advanced where I can make a payment online.
