Cleveland Cavs Discussion
With an 18 point lead I was almost foolish enough to think we'd coast to a win!!! LeBron, why are you holding the ball and standing motionless for 20 seconds? What kind of offense is that?

Wooster - July 2014
Wooster has a ton of fast food places, but they tend to be pushed away from the downtown. If you didn't know where they were they wouldn't be too obvious to find, I suppose.

Anyone else kinda surprised that LA is getting this second team?

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I'm a bit concerned in that we've seen the Bulls get streaky and get out to some big leads. Now with Atlanta's even better outside shooting it could be a real challenge. I want to see Atlanta on their heels and struggling to counter the Cavs offense right from the start. Is a 26 point lead at halftime too much to ask?

Yeah, that's by far my least favorite picture of Cleveland. It's just bad.

Westlake: Crocker Park
All of the artists were overjoyed at the announcement they were leaving for Crocker Park. Some even started living at Crocker Park immediately after. One of the complaints I hear is that while the new place will be very much improved for common areas and management offices, the space for the illustrators is somewhat lacking. That being said, none of the employees will ever miss the old place.

Poor Clippers....what a complete meltdown! Okay, I think the Cavs are going to beat ATL in seven, and then face the dreaded Rockets in the Finals.

Akron: Random Development and News
I used to love this place...sorry to hear this news. It was leaps and bounds by far the best beer selection back in the 1990's. The story of Akron, one step forward one step back. How is this one step forward, one step back? This is a choice by the owners of West Point market to take an offer and sell to a developer. Should we not allow them to make a choice of what to do with their own business? Yeah, WPM had a great beer selection in the 90's before anyone else was doing it, but now everyone has a great beer selection, so that doesn't make WPM special anymore. It's a gain, covering up an immediate loss. That's all.

Lakewood: Development and News
I don't believe that to be true myself. But even if it was, it would only be a matter of time imho before Crocker Park "won out" in this competition. Because I don't think there's any way the West End Lakewood project could out do Crocker Park; the much larger scale of CP is simply much better suited for that array of retail. So is Westgate. Lakewood is just so absolutely different from these more suburban locales; the strengths of Lakewood is that the city is not like Westlake or Rocky River or Strongsville.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
^ Agree, misleading title. I wonder what's going on with Business Insider... I love the Cavaliers/CAVS nickname. Not so sure about those Blue jerseys however. Every team my brother has ever supported has relocated. Rockets, Clippers, Seals (NHL team became Cleveland Barons). Chargers are probably next.

Lakewood: Development and News
It's hard for me to imagine how that development could have existed without creating major traffic headaches for the West End. To me it was just another short shighted example of people trying to turn Lakewood into something it clearly is not.

Way to jinx the Clippers!! Any other predictions haha. p.s. My bro pointed out that the Clippers/Rockets are the ex-San Diego Series...both franchises started - and left SD.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Great article on Shump. Though I think I may be throwing my hat in the ring to be an editor at Business Insider. Iman Shumpert — the player the Cavaliers got from the Knicks for practically nothing — has caught fire in the playoffs Business Insider By Scott Davis The Cleveland Cavaliers' midseason trade with the New York Knicks was lopsided from the beginning. The Cavs received J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert while giving away just a 2019 second-round pick. For practically nothing they got a player in Shumpert that they desperately needed — a solid wing defenders capable of guarding three positions and a decent shooter who doesn't need the ball. Shumpert's basic regular season numbers weren't impressive — eight points, three rebound, two assists, one steal per game to go with 41% shooting, 33% from three-point range. However, a deeper dive shows Shumpert's impact on the Cavs http://finance.yahoo.com/news/iman-shumpert-player-cavaliers-got-150549147.html

^ One amusing thing was that the set of criteria used to demonstrate the neighborhood was "blighted" was so ridiculous that by those standards just about every house in town should be torn down. By their logic, even the mayors house was blighted lol.

Cleveland / Lakewood: The Edge Developments
Too bad they couldn't just steal the Giant Eagle proposed design. I think that was much better, but hey, it will be good to finally see this thing get going.

Any filmmakers in the forum?
Hi Joey. 21 pages seems like a short. Indieclub is a waste of time. If you really want to finish this you've got to do it on your own, or find friends who are will to achieve your vision. Basically if you want your scrip to become something real, it's all on you!!

Random Question: What does a large city do when there's no room left to build?
Jobs are people my friend. -Mitt Romney Ha! Sorry that's the first thing I thought of. I'd personally like to see more industrious immigrants coming into the urban midwest; people who aren't as complacent as us 'Mericans.

The Bulls sure look like the better team so far. Cavs don't have the same heart.
