We can still debate street-level design functionality I suppose. Luckily it appears by all accounts that Stark "get's it," thank goodness.

The Ohio State University Buckeyes Football Discussion
OSU offense needs to grind and keep the Ducks offense on the bench. Watch Time of Possession. I think a shootout absolutely favors Oregon. I'm concerned there's now just enough game tape on Cardale Jones that Oregon could have a plan in place to throw a wrench into the Buckeye offense.

No cable TV for us, so I won't be watching. I'll follow the scores online. I actually predict an OSU loss. Maybe 42 to 24. I think it will be a one posession game through the half at which Oregon will take over from there. I'm sure you can find an online feed if you look around.

It's interesting seeing Delly and Kyrie playing together. So far so good.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
Well, I give baseball stadiums a free pass on this issue . Stadium advertising seems as old as the game itself. That being said, I still hate to say "Progressive Field." Yuck.

^ Good news. But I do sorta miss the rhino that was painted on that building.

Oh lucky you! And that's a cool, sweeping bridge (for a modern bridge) from which anyone would be proud to practice their high-diving skills! Haha. It's scary to drive over it I can assure you!

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Yeah, no matter how ya paint it this has been a let down so far. I liked Dion. I wanted Andy to have his all-star season. I wanted Kyrie to become that point guard catalyst to an unstoppable offense. I wished Wiggins best of luck and wanted K Love and everyone to gel. I was hoping on a best case scenario I guess. If any city deserves that to happen, it's Cleveland.

Agree re: expanded hours. The mere fact of being open on weekends would be huge for downtown.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
You've all maybe been ruined by Cleveland Browns football. Do you guys remember "our" guys that played so crappy and uninspired they got their coaches fired? Or watching Kyrie progress....into a ball hog? Watching Winston Bennett sit his fat butt on the bench? Or was it the excitement of some kind of WWE battle between Thompson, Dion and Kyrie that was so great? I'm just as disappointed in this season as anyone. Thank goodness I didn't invest in the NBA cable package. But man, Ricky Davis would even say those Kyrie-led Cavs teams sucked.

Haven't thought of that. If they have their awesome diy salad bar (and at the same price as burbs locations) then they'll already be filling an under served niche downtown.

Dion trade??? Wouldn't the GM consult LeBron on this? I thought everyone was happy.

Just wanted to bump this KJP post to say how these laws are freaking offensive. This is classic government overreaching and it should piss everyone off.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Eli's an interesting example. He seems to only be successful with a surrounding cast; strong running game and great depth at WR. There are very few QB's that elevate everyone around them to that next level, when needed. Even Peyton is off the mark with any kind of effective pass rush. Then you have guys like Jay Cutler with awesome RB and WR's and he's somehow still terrible.... Anyhow from what I've seen of Dalton, he's still fairly inconsistent and makes some terrible throws. But he's still fairly young. Who is to say he can't take that next step?

Bengals offense just looked incapacitated. Playing "close to the vest" will not win you many games in today's nfl.

I'd say it's official that we're stuck with the suburban exit ramp. Anyhow, it should be interesting seeing pics of this being constructed.

I've avoided that theater for two years now. I don't care to have people make loud comments through an entire movie.
