It's great that the base and the tower each have their own unique visual identity.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Not that I don't like the new center, but I think there's just something lacking....not sure. I do think that Akron did a better job with mod/traditional and that CWRU could have gone that route. Akron's center seems to embrace the surroundings and is more inviting to me.

Cleveland-Akron: Bicycling Developments and News
Maybe among the billionaire boys club! Ha! Well, it may be UO will need to wield its heavy influence here. Ted's map doesn't really benefit me personally since i'm in East Lakewood. But I do like the idea.

Well, it's going where the bathhouse is currently. They're surely tearing it down.

Cleveland sports talk radio
I like the out of town perspective that Bull brings. You can tell he really digs living in Cleveland. Fox, yes he's definitely gotten better. I don't care to hear about the depth chart of the OSU TE corps. Anyone else hear a rumor that former WTAM Kevin Keane was starting a new weekend show on 92.3?

Cleveland sports talk radio
I'm really liking Greg Brinda again. He, more than anyone, echoes my frustration of the Cleveland Indians lol. I don't like breaking up Rizzo and Aaron. But that's radio, I guess. I've been going with say 65% 92.3 to 35%WKNR. I'm sick of the Browns talk. Cleveland Browns Daily, man, Vic Carucci is so freakishly boring.

Glass Block is Terrible
Is Republican opposing candidate Chris Monzel going to one up him by snapping his own pic in front of some cheesy wood paneling?

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
awww man. thats a sore spot. as much as i am happy with all this redevelopment, i must agree it was a huge, huge misguided mistake to clearcut all of the original buildings, in particular such locally historic structures as kindlers and the original rockefeller warehouse. these old buildings could have been redeveloped into the nouveau flats easily enough and been great draws. a shame. however, in the end after phase 3 and i dk maybe a phase 4 it may not be so unique anymore, but overall it will be a great place again. it will certainly be a lively mix well even before then. i say hang on just a bit longer and then give it a try and a chance! Agree. This is the exact reason FEB will always be a sore spot for me too. I really dug the history and smaller scale of the buildings. Still, hoping for the best in the future. It is really cool to see the new development going on, even if I'm fairly certain it will never again be my "go to" place to hang out.

Sure, it was in all those awesome tv commercials when they first opened. "Come on down to the Avenue-hoo!" Maybe they're on youtube or something. They were really well done.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I realize this. But the name has long fallen out of the public lexicon. Which, I suppose that happens when you don't market your place of business for nearly twenty years.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Okay, just to be clear here....are we going to use "The Avenue" to describe what we've been calling Tower City Mall for 15 years? I'm fine with it, I just think it's important that everyone on UO thinks and speaks in unison. A united front!

Those Wallgreens bastards tore down the best venue in HS, the Trolley Stop. It was an awesome historic building. Wallgreens... I will never set foot in that place.

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
Traffic signals would safely separate cyclist and motorist turns. Preliminary plans by Bialosky's Ted Ferringer -- the designer of numerous maps and renderings to explain how the Midway would work -- show the planted zones shrinking in size to allow left-turn slots for drivers. Intersections would be carefully engineered and signaled to separate bicyclist and motorist turns. Perhaps Mr. Ferringer could have given UO a heads up! Come on man!!

Just think, the Cleveland Cavaliers are one Tim Duncan ankle sprain away from locking up the 2015 NBA title.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Well this is potentially major news... Let's hope this leads to positive change at Tower City Anyone else find it ridiculous that Forest City is still using the "Avenue" name that they haven't even bothered to promote since 1993?

2014 Gubernatorial Election
Supposedly, FitzGerald has never been drunk in his life. I'm actually kinda surprised you even know who Ed Fitzgerald is.

2014 Gubernatorial Election
http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/08/01/fitzgerald-cancels-campaign-events-calls-press-conference.html FitzGerald said during Friday’s news conference that he wound up driving the woman — a close family friend who was part of a visiting Irish delegation in October 2012 — because the others piled into an SUV to return to their hotels after a long night of drinking. The Cuyahoga County executive said he became separated from the other vehicle, there was confusion over where the woman was staying, so he pulled into a vacant industrial-complex parking lot. Was it politically foolish, or was it ingenious to include the part about the long night of drinking ha ha. Also, has it been proven that team Kasich's is behind this?
