Those fleeting days with Rubio, Lauri, K-Love, Darius, Evan, Allen & Co. were lightning in a bottle. So fun to watch....the ball movement was insane.

Crazy, but Browns can still be no. 1 seed https://www.wkyc.com/article/sports/nfl/browns/cleveland-browns-updated-playoff-clinching-scenarios-week-17/95-353dbebd-077b-436c-9fe0-11bc08cefb67
  4. An article on GLBC came out a few months back that pretty much gave the impression the company has no idea what it's doing. Are they the heritage dependable local brand or are they going to chase down and win over Gen Z with the fruitiest seltzer?

Damn I was really hoping the 49ers would win last night. Looks like the division is there for the Ravens. Also, the Browns haven't won the AFC North in thirty years. Carry on.

You sir are risking jail! Laws like that do one thing: make a mockery of law in general. **Oh I'd be remiss to allude to that other thing....that @ryanlammi just mentioned.

That mandatory 3 day jail sentence for car passengers could get really interesting. The proposed law against sharing is just so dumb I cannot quite believe it.
  8. This may be an outlier opinion, but one of the things I really love about Euclid Ave is the unobstructed streetwall. But I most definitely agree the city needs tons more trees, plus a much more cost-efficient and reliable means of taking care of said trees. Right now (under the current framework) I can't be the only one here who assumes anything new that is planted is just going to die.

So good to see the Browns offense rediscover the WR's. You gotta give Flacco a lot of credit for his poise and old man superpowers. Lots of props to go around in fact. A very good W.
  10. I think if the food is decent and it's a fun informal place to take the kids after sports it will fill a needed niche.
  11. I'd been spying on the brewery site all summer. I swear it was like one guy working part time, doing one sheet of drywall a week haha!!

Heck just call him the "The Fentanyl Governor." All those deaths on his watch. Pin that on him...blame him for everything lol.

Fentanyl scare!!! Omg DeWine....can we please get a governor who is not some yokel from the 1800's? Recreational marijuana is now legal in Ohio. What happens next? by: David Rees Issue 2, which voters passed Nov. 7 with 57% support, legalizes the sale, purchase and possession of cannabis for Ohioans who are 21 and older. However, unlike the abortion rights constitutional amendment that also passed, Issue 2 appeared on the ballot as an initiated statute — giving state lawmakers the final word. Now, legislators at the Ohio Statehouse are negotiating how to alter the enactment of Issue 2 through two competing bills — House Bill 86, approved 28 to 2 in the Senate on Wednesday, and House Bill 354, awaiting a vote in the House of Representatives. During a Wednesday evening press conference, Gov. Mike DeWine spoke in favor of H.B. 86 and said the legislation will help prevent a “black market.” “This black market will just take off,” DeWine said. “People will be getting it from many sources, none of them legally. Without this bill, people could be buying marijuana that has fentanyl in it. The leading cause of death in the state of Ohio of overdoses is fentanyl, 80% of our deaths.” https://fox8.com/news/recreational-marijuana-is-now-legal-in-ohio-what-happens-next/?nxsparam=1#:~:text=Without this bill%2C people could,80% of our deaths.”&text=However%2C several House members have, far from what voters approved.
  14. ^ I'm quickly losing interest in almost all sports. I have no faith that the people wresting control of college football will do anything right.

The "the law's the law" types will absolutely enforce this. You know that.

Archaic. Okay. So you're suggesting illegally growing narcotics at home is comparable to say, prohibitions against whaling on Sundays. Got it.

Are you asserting that most people don't have respect for the law. Are you a lawyer who is unaware of how prosecutors throw the book at people for leverage? Come on man, just admit the R's are wrong here. This isn't sports and rooting for your team this is real life with real consequences. You conflating striking home growing (major change) with rules on advertising and smoking indoors (well duh of course) is strawman territory.
  18. That could have been the 2014 valuation when the project was getting funded. But this looks even nicer than the Rams place which has a fixed roof and still cost what, $5B? Fixed roof in LA is just so dumb lol. I would really like to see a cost-benefit analysis of the revenue potential for a multipurpose venue. Is there any reason CLE can’t steal some events from Lucas Oil in Indy?

Who here is suggesting that cities cannot use zoning? If you're playing Devils advocate you are not doing a great job at it.
  20. I know Amazon is aiming heavily toward AI's role in healthcare right now. They're going to be seeking med partnerships.

While ironing out the details something to keep in mind: please contact your local reps about making sure there are dispensaries in walkable areas. The knee-jerk reaction from moral police is to locate these far far away from schools, churches, etc. This overreach basically isolates them to 1414 Industrial Way, or sketchy areas which just necessitates that customers drive, some of whom shouldn't be driving.
  22. Granted that's an improvement. But they're still showing the Final simultaneously on FOX. Why even bother? Are people not interested in the Semi's suddenly interested in the Final?

The guitars on teen spirit I believed were originally derived from Boston, More than a feeling.
  24. It was surreal. I went to THE soccer bar in San Diego...they didn't have the game. Called my friend who was at THE soccer bar in Cleveland....same. This is stupid for MLS.
  25. Hansa Haus in Ohio City Shoot. There was this little place in Asia Town...forgot the name and not sure if they're still open>???
