KJP I used to work in the Huntington! Loved it so much. THe lobby - amazing. I used to drag my friends through there to show it off and they couldn't believe it. Such a grandeur! And with the hidden retail inside it is truly a world unto itself; though I am hopeful that street presence can be improved somehow in the next phase of its life. I find it unlikely that this building will go unloved for much longer. Residential at that location is a no-brainer.

For the region the flexibility of streetcars provide an opportunity for further rail expansion to areas like Beachwood, Lakewood and the Chagrin Highlands at a much lower cost than traditional light rail or heavy Rail. Coming from the Lakewood/CLE border on Madison, I'd personally go out of my way to use the streetcar going down Detroit or Lorain vs. taking the Red Line. And I am a bus-o-phobe...Im sure not the only one. Just get me to Public Square on a route that doesn't depress the hell out of me lol.

Drove down E 9th today to grab a Phoenix Coffee. Seeing the outside work elevators going up and down on BOTH sides of the street at Breuer and Schoefield....sureal!

Maybe I'm just getting lousy layovers, but I think the restrooms in Cleveland are some of the best. Definitely a notch above Detroit, San Diego and Midway.

I love Frontier! And their talking animals...priceless. Also I think this is the right place to add that I had a great experience flying into the C L E on Delta. All kinds of free programing to watch (flight tracker!) clean new planes and very courteous service.

I'm not sure why this has to be a white/black thing. I'm sensing antagonism between forumers and I'm not sure origin or of the purpose. If a bands fans were in fact on a domestic terror list, it's pretty irresponsible then to book them at your venue. From the accounts it even sounds that if the gunshots weren't fired the melee would've continued and there could have been multiple deaths.

I'm back in the oh-io for a few weeks so I was snooping around yesterday. The architecture of the church is going to make this place very very interesting. There's ample room for outdoor dining. There is, however, not much parking at all; there are restrictions because of Harrison Elementary just across the street. I don't want to see any more houses in my historic neighborhood torn down. But enough with the negative. I'm shocked - in a good way - to hear the support for Bird Town to reclaim a semblance of it's commercial past. Don't ya think the cure for this hood is to renovate and repopulate all of the little storefronts? Just look over at Tremont for how to do it. Bird Town is too small to be Tremont, nor should it be imho...but it certainly can be Tremont-lite.

There's a sign that says "no alcohol beyond this point" and I call that an invitation to drink! Then again, maybe the sign is like that trick-portable fire hydrant that Sheriff Roscoe used to give the Duke boys parking tickets all the time.
