Cleveland: Bars / Nightlife News
How is that place? It's been on my list of bars to check out when I'm back in town.

US Economy: News & Discussion
I thought it was so weird the WF has been hassling to refinance my mortgage in the last 4-5 months. It's like, do they think people are unaware what's happened with interest rates lol.

That was a long long time ago though.

2022 Cuyahoga County Executive Election
The Ronayne win was a nice silver lining. I got to work with him a little tiny bit many years ago and he left me with a very good impression.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
Great and unexpected news on the vote! Now I feel it's okay to say the top of the building looks ridiculous lol.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
Right. And it also looks like he would go nuclear at Desantis.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
Wow I have never thought of that, but heck, it's easy to see him being vengeful and wanting to destroy the Republican party.

2022 U.S. Senate Race
What's pretty sad is that with their vast resources at their disposal, the Vance campaign concluded that the best strategy to win Ohio was for J.D. to lower his IQ by half and turn into Trump lite.

Cleveland: Tremont: Development and News
^ Wow that area sure is blowing up. What does APL stand for?

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
^ There's some silver lining perspective. I haven't heard any news of residential demand slowing down, so the evolution of downtown continues....maybe not in the way we want or remember, but it continues nonetheless.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I think maybe last year it was primarily due to injuries and having to rely too heavily on Garland...that and the team being just so young. They've grown up quickly!

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
Good memory! "Members of the Weiss family, which leads American Greetings, own a minority stake in Crocker Park. The company repeatedly has said that real estate investments by members of the family would not affect the headquarters decision. " *Lol, yeah right. https://www.cleveland.com/business/2011/05/american_greetings_moving_its_world_headquarters.html

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
Hard to say with AG's ownership being known for being or at least thinking like, well "old people." But at the time a lot of the employees were happy just to move somewhere less forlorn, and not surrounded by a notorious speed trap (Linndale). FWIW the Westlake offices are really nice. The Brooklyn facility was having a lot of issues, leaky ceilings, etc.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
I'll not forget that when mgmt. made the big announcement that AG would be moving out of Brooklyn the employees were so happy they were crying and hugging each other.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Seeing the team never losing their composure after being down is a really great thing to see this year. Annnd I know it's nowhere near reality, but seeing that game last night and just imagining LBJ back wearing wine and gold with THIS lineup - absolutely unbeatable.

Cleveland: Mayor Justin Bibb
Some solace here: "Even the sources most critical of Bibb and most suspicious of charter school expansion said they were confident that CMSD would land promising candidates to carry on Eric Gordon’s legacy. Both the financial position of the district and the robust community support make the job an attractive one, sources said."

Cuyahoga Valley National Park
That section of the Cuyahoga always seemed to have a very distinct smell, giving me the clear impression you did not want to be swimming in or drinking that water lol.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
At least at W. 117th you can head west into Birdtown and there's East End, Flying Rib, Winchester (.3 mi) and also LBM and Griffin Cider House (.4 mi).

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
It quite honestly floors me that the city doesn't do more to play up the Rock Hall and the history of the genre.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Last I heard Peninsula was having some kind of major issue with their water supply. So bad that Winking Lizard was having to bring in their own water.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Oh I loved the Grand Prix. But yes it would be really cool to see it downtown. For many years it was good to see blue Lake Erie on national television. It was a great look for the city.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Anyone know much much economic impact the CART/Indycar races brought to Cleveland? I remember reading the race generated around $50M to Detroit each year. Anyhow the last I heard of any serious mention of bringing the event back to Burke was 2015. Crickets since then.

Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
Agree. Such an incredible opportunity that it really amplifies the absolute need to do this all in the best way possible.
