Cleveland Browns Discussion
The NFL seems to really hate Browns fans. I blame the league for the team moving and for virtually all the expansion chaos.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I see that stretch as sort of a civic "back porch" for the city: lots of public access with shopping, event space, recreation and residential too. It would be great to design in a way there's a seamless walkable retail component that stretches out from Tower City.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Did anyone else see reports that the NFL dug in on a 12 game suspension because they do not want Watson to face the Houston Texans in game 12?

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I don't have time today to fish around for it, but I remember the Forest City plan for that strip looking very prominent (and to @JohnSummit's point looking finished) while giving much more deference to the existing buildings.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Stole this from @NorthShore647 I always loved this prominent and distinctive view of the city. While I'm certainly in favor of developing the riverfront I really hate to lose this aesthetic.

NFL: General News & Discussion
^ Question: How many superbowls do the Pats win without the Bill Belichick's defenses? In other words I think using that as a metric for "best qb ever" is not the best one.
-
Cleveland Cavs Discussion
I'd say it's unlikely, but who knows...it could be a reason the team isn't exactly in a hurry to lock in either Sexton or LeVert.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
That's not what the Beacon Journal is saying lol.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
Think of the ambience though. You clearly aren't thinking about how perfectly spooky those dead trees will look around Halloween time!

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Doesn't the NFL make like 10+ billion a year? I feel like they should be financing this.
-
Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
Agree. I really loved the phase 2 renderings and would've loved to see that happen, but as I'm sure we all have learned by now you cannot fall in love with them! That being said, I am not a fan of the reflective glass. Especially at ground level it just looks not very welcoming.

Cleveland: Streetscape Improvements
This has been an issue for decades. It casts a poor reflection on the city.

Great Lakes Shipping News
Great article. Interesting to think that The Port of Cleveland is only operating at 10% capacity right now.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Wow, old man SantoSuossa (Johnnys) must be beside himself seeing all that parking closed off hahaha.
-
Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I thought the sliding glass roof concept looked really cool. Haha found it....not sure I trust the writer though ;-) https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1340833-cleveland-browns-is-the-owner-in-waiting-trying-to-put-a-lid-on-city-officials

Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
Hope you are correct sir! Getting some real sim city vibes with all the potential of that stretch.

Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
While you're at it, please consider giving that stretch a road diet! One can dream....

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Not good. Could you imagine being some unfortunate public transit reliant guy who could lose their job for being late?
-
Vision Zero
Sadly, Gordon Square/Detroit-Shoreway could be a pretty hostile stretch for me back in the day when I commuted downtown. I'm actually still in awe that those bike lanes were put in.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
The City of Avon Lake destroyed that beach 10+ years ago with their ill-advised erosion control. They literally built a seawall when the only thing in danger from erosion was a rusted chain link fence.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Yeah, when i flew in last month the smell was almost unbearable. In a more civilized society I'd imagine there would be bathrooms, or people not needing to live in the RTA station.

Ohio: Brewery & Alcohol Industry
My best guess from a few years ago was that the GLBC brain trust visited Stone Brewing in San Diego and wanted their main campus: think wooded walking trails, natural areas, secluded picnic space, bar + restaurant, hotel and still ample room for brewing and distribution.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I feel lucky to have been around during The Avenue days. I wish someone could dig up those commercials, then others may get a glimpse of what it was like. A really a special time for downtown.

Ohio: Brewery & Alcohol Industry
If they have a storefront here's hoping they'll run CIFF films 24/7.

Housing Market & Trends
I know you don't live in Cleveland, but can you explain why builders there say it's much harder to get for-sale units financed vs. rentals?
