Cleveland Browns Discussion
Funny on the ESPN score ticker before the game it said "Browns upset the Bengals last week...." which made me wonder, are the Browns viewed as the worst team in AFC North?

Yep, I know it's not even halftime yet but I've seen enough. Belichek is just so much better than Stefanski/Woods it's not even fair.

Right? I've been visiting reddit/r/nba quite a bit and the whole league is hopping on the Mobley/Cavs bandwagon. It's so fun to see!

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
We are gonna miss his buckets, absolutely. I think it's asking too much to believe we'll get consistent scoring from guys like Okoro, Rubio, Mobley, Cedi, etc.

Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
Performing within its walls were Alan Alda, Joel Grey, Margaret Hamilton, Elizabeth Hartman, Paul Newman, Eleanor Parker, June Squibb, Ray Walston, Jack Weston, Grant Show and James Riordan, many of whom began their acting careers at CPH. Newman, of Shaker Heights, starred in many blockbuster movies over a 50-plus-year career. Hamilton, a Cleveland native, went on to her signature role as The Wicked Witch of the West in the 1939 Judy Garland movie The Wizard of Oz. CPH also operates the nation’s oldest community-based theatre education program. https://neo-trans.blog/2021/11/12/cleveland-clinic-to-demolish-ex-cleveland-play-house/ I'm just hoping that the Clinic can honor this history with some sort of mural or historical marker. This is interesting info that we should be proud of, not completely forgotten. Cleveland has such an amazing story and I have always felt the people there are way too shy about it.

Darn. I loved when they had their comeback of sorts in the late 80's.

Yep. And it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Mahomes was playing hurt. That type of play is just not sustainable imho.

I can definitely see that. So in that case OBJ had better have a Patrick Mahomes or Russel Wilson at QB. Like, guys who are ridiculous at avoiding the pass rush and extending plays.

Great idea. Whenever I'm back in town I have tried to hit up the Lakewood spot, but it's always super crowded.

Analytics: When the Browns go for it on 4th down I know it's time to start doing something else for the next few hours/days.

Attempted to watch on a recent flight. After a few minutes I sadly realized that watching the "flight tracker" map was more interesting.

Cleveland: Local Media News & Discussion
I thought his show was really good sports commentary way back when. Then for whatever reason they brought in a sidekick (Kim) I believe in order to be just like Robin on Howard Stern. Triv said "we don't want to sound like a bunch of guys talking in a locker room." That's about when topics started gravitating more toward politics and became dumber than normal. Have not tuned into WTAM in several years.

Ohio Republicans certainly aren't great, but they're not totally regressive either. Republican Ohio Lawmakers Announce Marijuana Legalization Bill, Reflecting Recent Bipartisan Shift On Issue Published October 12, 2021 By Kyle Jaeger For years, Democratic lawmakers have mostly led the charge in pushing for marijuana legalization—but that seems to be changing of late. The latest example comes from a pair of Ohio Republican lawmakers who announced a new bill to legalize cannabis on Tuesday, a move that comes as activists are collecting signatures to put a cannabis initiative on the state’s ballot next year. While polling has shown that marijuana reform is increasingly a bipartisan issue with voters, that attitude hasn’t been largely reflected in state legislatures across the U.S., or in Congress. But this month alone, new legalization legislation is being championed by GOP lawmakers in Pennsylvania and now Ohio. There have also been a handful of Republican-led pushes to enact cannabis policy changes earlier in 2021 sessions, everywhere from New Hampshire to Missouri, with GOP members either sponsoring their own legislation or joining Democrats on bipartisan reform bills. On Tuesday, Ohio Rep. Jamie Callender (R) held a press conference to unveil his new proposal, which would allow adults 21 and older to purchase and possess marijuana. The bill, whose chief cosponsor is another Republican lawmaker, Rep. Ron Ferguson, would provide regulations for the licensing of cannabis growers, distributors and retailers. Adults “should be able to make decisions for themselves, and that’s what this bill does,” Callendar said at Tuesday’s press conference. https://www.marijuanamoment.net/republican-ohio-lawmaker-announces-marijuana-legalization-bill-reflecting-recent-bipartisan-shift-on-issue/

Okay, these guys are famous (infamous?) for a hilariously terrible video for their song "The King Who Never Was" and now after a few years of doing whatever, they're back at it.

Agree. And always thought that the Design District Plan - that just sort of disappeared - was a really good one. The city would do well to play up its role in the history of innovation.
