  1. Here's a fun idea, it's take your kids to work day today at my office, so they made a coloring book special for the occasion.
  2. Agree, even though I think the land bridge is also of great importance. Perhaps the Tower City option gives momentum toward a less hectic lakefront, at least from a vehicular standpoint.
  3. Also fun to bring along a few camping chairs and listen in on the concerts at the Jacobs/Nautica Pavilion.
  4. I’m still sore there apparently weren’t enough people to keep the Barking Spider open. That was a real loss.

I wish the republicans would have a falling out with the pharmaceuticals industry.
  6. Speaking of steroids...I once ran into Miguel Tejada and Sammy Sosa after a game at a restaurant in Baltimore. Sosa excitedly pointed at my Tribe hat and so Tejada punched me in the shoulder. It was intended to be playful funny gesture, yet he's just so strong it did kinda hurt lol.
  7. Who could have foreseen this? A: Everyone.

Not to get too far off 2022 senate race, but I find it somewhat amusing to remember Rand Paul called Barack Obama "un-American" for criticizing BP after their horrendous oil spill in 2012. Now Rand wants us all to boycott Coke or whoever lol. Come on Rand, I've tried so hard to like you....make up your mind.

I think this is what intrigues me the most about him. What does he actually truly believe? How would he act as a legislator?

Gotcha. Here's hoping they can defend against the run better. I think the Browns have been ahead of the curve, bringing back a more run-centric offense. I believe we could see other teams going that route, especially since 1. defenses are more geared vs. passing and 2. RB's are cheap. Also, I was not at all impressed on how the offense and defense played in bad weather, like they didn't want to be out there. Bad weather has always been an advantage for the Browns.

    What about LB?
  12. ^ Perhaps it's time to move the basketball court close by the police station.
  13. The expansive terrace located on the second level, overlooks Lake Eerie. Good grief Charlie Brown!
  14. Really can't wait to see their vision for the riverfront. Also while I've been unable to verify this, a friend swears that two years ago she talked the BrewDog folks about locating close by the Towpath.

It's not so much about catering to the left, but about calculating what they believe helps their business and their reputation. It's simply business.
  16. So glad to hear Frankfurt will not be a total loss. I was thinking that it would be a fairly lifeless corridor.

^ Lately Vance has been catering to people who have a knee-jerk emotional response, to everything. Those people tend to donate more and think less.
  18. It's not all bad. When I worked over there a coyote would come visit sometimes.
  19. Cool, you can google streetview right into the Avian. I personally hope BrewDog keeps the graffiti.
  20. Can't help reading these posts and not think of Swingos scenes in Almost Famous. Also, I'd sure love to buy that hotel and update it to a boutique music history spot....if anyone wants to go in on it with me.
  21. Me too. I like phase 1, but always thought phase 2 was the sexier building.
  22. That staircase pictured on the left in the original was awesome. You're right the original is just better, far more welcoming.
  23. Darn, the windows are reflective? From all the renderings I thought we'd be able to see inside.
  24. In the right hands this building could be super complimentary to the overall vision....but yeah, I totally get your sentiments.
  25. The Dolans surely deserve accolades, and certainly a fair share of criticism too. But I think it's time for them to sell to an owner with deep pockets, and who is committed to keeping the high level of professionalism that has been the hallmark within the organization.
