Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
https://www.countyplanning.us/projects/cuyahoga-county-lakefront-public-access-plan/ This is looking like a bad plan if you like sand and beaches and swimming in the lake. I fear the misguided erosion-control sins of the past are just being repackaged on a grander scale.

They never looked in sync on offense. I think that's what's most disappointing. And when it all counted we punted away the game. We all knew the defense was not good and it was proven again today. All in all a good year, esp considering the Browns had been so historically terrible. But next year is going to be a dogfight in the division. Nothing's a given.

Right. This is the stodgy company that fired that guy who brought so much good attention via social media.

Heck, the ROCK HALL isn't even open late enough. This paint museum (even typing the word paint museum just made me yawn) is going to close at what, 5pm or earlier? I'm getting the distinct impression that SW has absolutely no vision here.

From the article: Limiting parking garage vehicular access to a secondary street like Frankfort would conform to the Superblock's Urban Overlay District zoning. So would hiding parking decks behind usable spaces like offices, hotel rooms, training facilities -- or at least having ground-floor commercial spaces like restaurants and retail. "The Urban Overlay (UO) District is established to foster a high level of walkability and design quality for Cleveland's urban streets," according to the City Planning Commission Web site. "The UO will do this by requiring pedestrian-oriented building features, preserving and enhancing the architectural character of new and existing buildings and protecting public safety by minimizing conflicts between vehicles and pedestrians."

That's the location where it makes most sense to have movie theaters imho. Getting in/out of the FEB still seems chaotic and time consuming venture for most people.

If it’s a high scoring game I can definitely see the Browns outracing them. Much harder to imagine the defense holding up when it counts in a tight game vs Ben. Also the Steelers were beneficiaries of several questionable calls vs the Colts. Here’s hoping the refs aren’t quite so influential on Sunday night.

And the luckiest team in the league this season continues to be the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
^ Wow, that could be terrible news, depending on whoever the buyer is. Ironic since my friend just leased an apartment upstairs from Nighttown.

Calling them "awful" is perhaps a little bit generous!

For that section the public access "boardwalk" could simply go along the front of these buildings. Somewhere on this site, or maybe lost to crashes is a very amateurish photoshop attempt at how that would work.

^ good choice. That guy sure got the most from his travels.

They waited way too long to run that play.

Just checking if anyone saw Glen Petranek's pics of Allen-Sullivan House, pretty amazing stuff. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=3643771919016262&set=a.112655418794614&__cft__[0]=AZW_JrIjHmSgAdZEHKfagV-7scHIr-QTyQUzUCsxJ-NTKXPFfhcLkNS_m72RXPk6cK0E6c7X6Jm7Gp8dRpje8BDOhSjD03TcccpNxySr8a7RAYQuiTify4mzXkqh3FhErLs&__tn__=EH-R https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=3645984402128347&set=pcb.776238002973037

So with OBJ and Jojo Natson hurt, and Jarvis, Hollywood, DP Jones & K Hodge all out, the Browns will be reliant upon their 7th and 8th string WR's. Time to see our TE corps earning their money tomorrow!

How bout this for a crazy possible chain of events: CLE beats NYG NYJ, Indy beats PIT, MIA wins out, Indy beats JAX, BAL wins out, TEN beats HOU, PIT beats CLE.......and the Cleveland Browns are out of the playoffs on tiebreakers despite winning 11 games!!!

That was so satisfying to watch the Steelers lose again. Way to go Bengals!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
The Steelers luck is running out fast and they are flailing. They look all out of sorts and now have to face a resurgent Phil Rivers and the Colts next week. Man oh man, I can't believe I'm about to type this. The Cleveland Browns have a good chance at winning the AFC North.

Right!!??? And I bet Stefanski would've gone for 2 in that situation, or at least Baker would've been actively lobbying to do so.

Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
Such bad memories! Nobody can convince me that three year layoff was nothing more than the league punishing and making an example out of the City of Cleveland.

Lamar was awesome last night. As soon as I saw him running back out of the locker room I lost all hope of winning lol. Actually us scoring with +1 minute on the clock was the killer, but what can you really do about that?

It would be much more reassuring to see the team play well in bad weather. Until I see them get down and dirty, we are like some weird finesse running team.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
We are seeing that there's almost no room for error. Every mistake they make on offense is amplified by the fact defense is so bad.
