That was a great play by the Ravens defender. Don't change a thing Baker.

Never really broke through, but is very well-known in the industry....the pride of Akron!
  3. As someone who was crammed into that basement a few times, I'm shocked I did not know of this fact!

This guy sounds very impressive. https://www.justinbibb.com/bio
  5. It would've required actually making connections with the Native community and providing resources to support Native causes. Channeling a percentage of merch sales would've been the obvious way, but I understand that comes with all kinds of contractual issues that could be hard to work out. I suppose it's just easier to change the name.

Actually, it really depends where in Alaska lol.
  7. Image and marketing....these things are the definition of superficial. The real opportunity was to keep the name and make it count toward real support for Native Americans.
  8. Interesting to know!

I would view pretty much any teenage punk or metal band as a novelty, like School of Rock or Glee, but with guitars. Let's face it, those genres are pretty well-worn territory.

Wow. I suppose I won't be subscribing to his online newsletter!

My name is Arthur Oliver Kostendt. I was raised in a sleepy subdivision in Hudson, Ohio. The occasional family trip to Cleveland was always the perfect cure for suburban doldrums --- the density, the energy, the ELECTRICITY. Most especially, the accessibility for pedestrians, transit users, and bicycle riders – if I’d only lived in the city, I wouldn’t have been dependent on Mom and Dad to get everywhere! _____ I already like him better than everyone else lol.
  12. That's a dangerous stretch of road for sure. I've had quite a few road ragers behind me when I had the audacity to stop for pedestrians in those crosswalks.

The Ravens remaining schedule is sooo easy though: DAL, JAX, CLE, NYG, CIN. I think the MNF Browns-Ravens game is gonna be huge.
  14. I still believe you could retain them and have plenty of room for brand new residential and other amenities. What the region sorely needs imho is a place where you can go at night and just hang out - without it being a bar or restaurant. In coastal areas that place is almost always the waterfront, but not in Cleveland. Anyhow, with so many thousands of artists and musicians in Northeast Ohio the warehouses could've played to our strengths and serve as a real catalyst for the area. Please no more Flats 2.0 type of development, it's soulless.
  15. I can't speak to their structural condition, but anyone who was at Ingenuity Fest there saw just how great the warehouses were as event space. It is a shame that they're not being renovated because I feel that Ingenuity set the perfect example of what an organic, realistic and tenable solution for lakefront development is all about.
  16. the only real explanation

I think losing so badly to the Steelers and Ravens has tempered some of the enthusiasm. The Browns are closer to being the 4th best team vs. being best in the AFC North. But hey, I'm ecstatic the team has found ways to win. Though I'm admittedly still upset at the Kitchens experiment wasting all of last season. So bad lol.

Earlier I saw Marcellus Wiley on ESPN commenting that the weather was instrumental in helping out the Browns secondary. According to him they'll be exposed in "normal" weather and, with the defense leaking like a sieve, the Browns entire ball-control game plan won't work. We shall see!
  19. I know that with the MAC tournament much of the allure for players is the mystique of playing on that NBA court.

And if I told you the Browns would be outscored 72-13 vs Ravens/Steelers how would you feel lol?
  21. It doesn't need to be a perfect world, just a common sense world. Why in heck do we let a "good building" get torn down in Cleveland when there's so much open space?

If you don't know the name of the other teams punter after watching the whole game on tv, your team sucks. If Jarvis Landry is your teams WR1, your team sucks. If you're super reliant on David Njoku to make a very easy key reception, your team sucks. If a warm weather team comes into your house in terrible weather and kicks you around, your team sucks. The Cleveland Browns suck! They are once again pretty close to being the #4 team in the AFC north.
  23. I can't say I like the idea of tearing down the Marion building, which Weston had said fairly recently was a "good building," not to mention it's eligible for historic tax credits.
